My wife and I just moved to the area 2 years ago. We've always wanted to own lake property, and when we were able to buy and update this condo on the lake, we were very excited.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this little niche away from the city. Jurgen had to undergo radiation therapy at MD Anderson in Houston for 7 weeks and we chose to stay at Lake Conroe instead of the city and we were so glad we did. It was a quiet and very relaxing stay. Coming back from the city and having a view of water was lovely - altho the lake was low this year due to the drought all over Texas. Since it's a one bedroom it was perfect for us. Might be a little cozy for a large family altho my sister and her husband came over for a weekend and it worked out fine. Didn't use the condo pool but the yacht club pool looked very inviting as did the sports club. The owners were very accommodating which is something we really appreciated.

We had a great time here. The place was very nicely decorated. The only downsides were that it was a little older than I thought it would be and didn't have quite the view I was hoping for. It's on the third floor as well, which is both good and bad. The pool was small, but the yacht club pool just down the street was very nice and had a great view of the lake. Overall, it was a great deal and we enjoyed staying here and may stay again in the future.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The description of the property and the photos were an accurate portrayal of the unit and everything was clean and inviting. We didn't have any interaction with the owner once we were there because everything had been arranged prior to arriving and there was no need for any contact as we found the things we were looking for. We found the condo unit to have a great view of Lake Conroe and conveniently close to the things we wanted to do and see. The immediate area is great for taking walks and enjoying the outdoors. It's a short drive to Hwy 105 where there are restaurants and shops to suit anyone's taste. Houston is less than an hour's drive for those who want to head that way for the day.We enjoy golf and found that the courses nearby are reasonably priced and a fair challenge. We're definitely heading back, maybe as early as next year, and unless we bring down other people, will stay at the same place. We will certainly recommend this condo to people heading to the area.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband and I spent a couple of days here just to relax. We couldn't have chosen a better spot. This place was very nice and cozy, very clean and quiet and well decorated. Listing description very accurate and condo photos were current. I would certainly recommend this condo to a friend or relative. I found it very easy to get answers from the owners, they are very easy to work with. There is a beautiful lighthouse just on the other side of the marina that can be seen from the balcony. The sun rises right into the balcony doors. There were also a few ducks waiting just below the balcony every morning for a few crackers. We really love this place and hope to bring the kids next time as there is a pull out bed in the living area.
