Why the Owner Chose Holland
Growing up in this area, I always knew that there was something very unique about this historical community. The 'Big Red' lighthouse as well as the historical Holland Harbor where the Lake Macatawa waterway feeds into Lake Michigan- all sites to behold!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Macatawa is situated only 10 minutes from the Dutch city of Holland and 10 minutes from Saugatuck (the 'Art Coast of West Michigan'), a 3 hour drive from Chicago or Detroit- all very convenient. However, nothing surpasses the views captured from King's Cottage and the surrounding area, it is indeed breathtaking!! The miles of white sandy beaches against the Lake Michigan backdrop~ need I say more?
