This welcoming cottage is a dream come true! It is located on a peaceful lagoon 150 yards from Kiawah's magnificent beach and has been completely renovated with a third bedroom/bath and sunroom addition. It is one of only a few cottages in Oceanwoods with 3 full baths. The cottage invites rest and relaxation.
The well-appointed kitchen will allow for the preparation of simple to gourmet family meals, but you are more likely to spend your time on the beach or lolling on the secluded, screened porch from which you will often spot alligators, deer, dozens of species of birds, and numerous other wildlife.
The walk to the beach is on a paved, shaded path that begins right outside the cottage driveway. Our stretch of the beach remains uncrowded and is situated west of Night Heron Condos and the Sanctuary Hotel, both within easy walking distance.
If you are too much of an adventurer to hangout only on the beach or at the cottage, four bikes are provided for use on the island's extensive bike trails. Night Heron Park (Nature Center, children's playground, basketball court, and more) is a walk or a bike ride away. The island's shops, restaurants, and golf courses are within easy biking or driving distance. And Charleston is only 40 minutes away!

We stayed here for a girls getaway. We were very pleased with our accommodations. This beach house is charming. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The home is nicely furnished, very clean, comfortable, and up to date. There are lots of extra touches throughout the house. We enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the scenic lagoon tucked in the back of the house for total privacy. There is easy access to the walking and bike trails. The beautiful beach is just a quick walk away. The owner was a delight to work with. We look forward to staying here again!

5 high school girlfriends who live all over the country came here to vacation together. We loved the place. It is just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Excellent accommodations for all of us. This place is beautifully decorated. The owner called and informed us of trouble with the electric in two of the bathrooms and that an electrician would be there in the morning. Also the hot wet weather brought ants and she informed us of that as well. We put all our food in the refrigerator so it wasn't that bad. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. We loved Kiawah Island shops. We all agreed we will come back again.

We have visited Kiawah Island for a family vacation for the past 10 years. This was our first stay at this wonderful Oceanwoods property. We love the location-----just 1 block from the beach----and the privacy----it's a quiet spot on the lagoon----a great spot to watch birds and alligators!! The cottage was very clean and arranged for convenience and privacy----the 3 baths were awesome for our family of 7. Roomy and perfect!!! We love this spot and plan to return often!!!!
