- No Pets Allowed : deer visit the property daily and dogs tend to chase them. There is a cat on premises and she (Penny) can remain, is self sufficient, yet can be taken for a visit to friends if you desire.

- Kid Friendly : While there are many art objects and no children live on site, kids will love the outdoors. Parents are of course asked to supervise kids appropriately. My undergrad work is in talented/gifted consultation, so I appreciate kids and their natural curiosity and wisdom for adults.

Having grown up in a third-generation farm/ranch family setting here western Colorado, Kent now resides near Ridgway, CO, at InVision Wellness Retreat Center w/his partner Debra. She hails from thee Durango, CO area where her father ran a trading post on Navajo land for many years. Kent is affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Integrative Medicine clinic in Ridgway as a licensed professional counselor and clinical hypnotherapist, while also providing spiritual mentoring/workshops and fitness/wellness training. Debra teaches yoga and pranayama breathing, while the two of them team up in providing workshops together. Both maintain a balance of daily recreational activities, devotional practice, working with clients individually and in workshop settings, and community gatherings. Both can assist you in knowledge of regional backpacking treks and cycling routes. Why the Owner Chose Ridgway
Ridgway is one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations on the planet. In our travels in my documentary photography and healing arts work, and coming home to Ridgway reminds us how beautiful and stunning our region remains. The wildlife is extensive, and one can get on the bike out the front door. There are some natural hot springs that date back to Native American sacred use, and having resided for many years on Native American lands, these natural healing spaces are special.
Of course, Telluride is 40 miles away for great music/art/film festivals, skiing, and Ouray with it's natural draw for tourists is 15 miles south. Also, as mentioned, practicing with some very exceptiona/talented colleagues at our integrative medicine clinic in Ridgway is another gift.
The Unique Benefits of this House
While you are renting a home that has a set intention as a healing and visual arts space that attracts yoga groups and others facilitating healing arts/fitness workshops, the general public is equally welcome. This home is secluded. no other homes are visible, yet one can view the various mountain ranges to the east and south. Deer, rabbit, squirrel and an occasional fox visit the property. It's quiet and peaceful.
