Why the Owner Chose Watsonville
We fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness of the property with vast views ocean across from Santa Cruz to Montery and many miles of pristine beach. It is less than 1-1/2 hrs drive from San Jose and 2 hours from San Francisco. We also enjoy the privacy and security of a gated resort.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Pajaro Dunes, offers several tennis courts and a recreation center. It is a few minutes drive from the town of Watsonville where there is movie-plex, and supermarkets etc. Half an hour south are the lovely towns of Montery & Carmel with great restaurants and quaint shops, historic Carmel and San Juan Batista Missions, and the world famous Montery Bay Aquarium. Scenic Big Sur and the state park with miles of tide-pools to explore, are a short drive south of Montery. Half an hour north is fun Santa Cruz with it's famous amusement park and a long pier with fine seafood restaurants. The coast between Montery and Santa Cruz is lined with charming seaside villages. One can golf or horseback-ride, kayak, surf or just curl up with a good book, under a beach umbrella, or by a warm fire on rainy winter weekend. It is the perfect vacation spot!
