Only a few miles from the resort at Winter Park and just a 100 yards from the free ski shuttle stop -- this 2,500 sq ft custom home is definitely more than your average cabin. It combines elegance and comfort in a private wooded setting and has all the amenities to make your next vacation easy and relaxing.
Located in the new development called The Cabins at Porcupine Ridge, our Cabin sits on a construction-free street, complete with maturing landscaping. Our home includes a private hot tub, steam shower, and mountain views with close access to ski & snowshoeing trails, snowmobiling, sledding/tubing hill, the Fraser Recreation Center with indoor pool, the new ice & skate rink, and the soon-to-be completed new movie theater and bowling alley -- you name it, we have it! Not to mention all the fun festivals & adventures taking place in Winter Park Resort.
The Cabin is beautifully crafted with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, hickory planked floors, and hand-carved log beams. It is decorated with high-end furnishings and appliances and we have given careful thought to providing all the creature comforts that you would wish for in your own home.
The great room with dining area hosts a large cherry-wood table & leather chairs that expands to seat large family gatherings. The kitchen is complete with granite countertops, breakfast bar, gas stove/convection oven, and stocked with all of the cooking extras to make eating-in a painless choice! The great room living area has a flat-screen HDTV, DirecTV, and stereo surround sound system that extends to the outdoor patio speakers.
Off the great room, step outside to the covered private deck & 6-person hot tub that backs to an open space full of aspens and pine trees and a spectacular view of the Continental Divide.
Our home offers two master suites, so it perfectly accommodates a multi-family gathering. The main level master suite is furnished with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and its own large master bathroom with walk-in shower.
Up the log staircase, the entire floor is the second master suite with a queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, private bath & shower and walk-in closet.
Located in the downstairs lower level of the Cabin is the additional living area, with two more bedrooms and third full bathroom and laundry room. One very spacious bedroom has a queen bed while the remaining bedroom is a cowboy-style bunk room that is both kid & adult-friendly as it contains three double-beds.
So whether you have spent the day skiing or riding, sledding or snowshoeing, hiking or biking trails – you are going to love the custom steam shower to restore your aching muscles. And for the perfect end to a perfect day – the home theater living room offers a 52" flat-screen HDTV with 200+ channels of DirectTV, BLU-Ray DVD player with free Netflix, Pandora and Slacker radio, all enhanced with a 7.1 surround sound stereo system.
We keep a selection of Blu-rays & DVD's to view, books to read, and games to play and numerous toys to keep the little ones busy.

Our vacation home is our favorite place to spend the winter months. The Cabin is in a quiet setting in the neighborhood and the views of the open space are perfect for watching the snow fall on the mountains and the evergreen trees. Our location is convenient to the ski resort and the amenities of the towns of Winter Park & Fraser while still feeling like you are secluded in the mountains. It is a perfect escape to enjoy all our favorite winter activities of downhill skiing, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and even sledding & tubing!

Wow. Just incredible in every aspect. Our 2 families from Texas stayed at this beautiful home last Spring and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every detail has been thought of. The kids had a perfect downstairs retreat. The jacuzzi was perfect, especially with fresh snow falling! The shuttle stop was right up the road and very convenient. The 2 master suites we very comfortable for the adults. Monika was very accomodating and so nice to work with. Would recommend this property whole-heartedly!

Your mountain home is fantastic! We loved everything about it and it was perfect for the two families from Texas. Our favorite was the hot tub which was perfect after skiing all day. You have made it so livable……a home away from home!

Dec 9th – 15th Incredible Rental Home What a wonderful place you have here! We were here with family from around the country – Florida, Virginia, Colorado, California, and Pennsylvania. We all needed a well-deserved “rest” and time to “visit”. We certainly found that here! It is so cozy and homey here – not like the usual rental. You can tell it is your home. We did get fresh snow during our visit which added to the great skiing. (That shuttle bus is certainly convenient.) The recreational center pool was also a plus. Thanks for allowing us to use your home for our “get-away.” It was fabulous!

March 16-21, 2010 What a beautiful home with all the comforts anyone could ever ask for! The layout of the home was perfect for our party of 10 (4 adults, 6 teenage boys). Shuttle was convenient for the boys as they were able to return home from a day of boarding on their own! Thank you for your flexibility, easy going & friendly nature, and responsiveness to phone calls and emails. You truly made our Spring Break fun and hassle free! Thanks again!

Thanksgiving Retreat – Nov 24-27, 2010 Wow….I’m speechless! As soon as I walked in…I knew we had found our place of comfort, rest & fun! Truly beautiful! We have the same decorating taste & style…so it made my heart even more joyful! What a wonderful place to cook Thanksgiving dinner & enjoy it around your table! We had a great time sitting around the fireplace with great conversation, while the kids enjoyed the basement area tremendously. We had a wonderful dinner @ The Cheeky Monk, we had fun tubing at the Fraser Hill and cross-country skiing at Devil’s Thumb! The hot tub was much needed to restore my sore body! Having Safeway so close helped us greatly! Thank you for your patience during the scheduling process!! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home!
