I stayed here for 6 months with three friends in the spring 2011. The apartment is in a friendly neighborhood with grocery stores, a laundromat, restaurants and dry cleaning. It´s also close to the subway and very easy to get to Manhattan. The apartment is very nice and big. It´s well maintained and has WiFi, cable and a home phone. Every bedroom has good storage space for clothes and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is a great place to cook all kinds of meals. The owner answers emails quickly, stops by if there is anything you need and is very helpful. Everything was accurate with the listing description and the contract. Dutch Boy Burger is just around the corner and has great food! Two blocks away on Washington Avenue you can find Toms Restaurant. This is a nice place to have an American breakfast. If you walk for about 15 min down Park Place to 5th avenue you will find Beacons Closet, a great vintage store! I would highly recommend everyone who is looking for a place to stay for a long or short time!

Had a great experience at Park Place! Guest: bennecc (Nashville, TN) Date of Stay: March 27, 2010 Review Submitted: May 27, 2010 I stayed here for 2 months this spring and couldn't have asked for a better situation. The place is really nice, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and it comes with cable and WiFi. The apartment really is very convenient, especially if you have a car. Parking is always easy to find, the 24 hour laundromat is just down the road, and there are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. And when you want to go into the city, the train is right there as well. Here's some tips about the neighborhood. Try Dutch Boy for burgers or Bristen's Eatery for brunch or dinner. If you walk the other direction to Vanderbilt you'll find Zaytoons, which has great low priced Middle Eastern food. Franklin Park is a fun place to go get a drink at night. If you're looking for a great place to stay while you visit New York, stay at Park Place. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and really made the experience hassle and worry free.

Three of us stayed here six nights in August 2010 to attend a wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and it worked out perfectly. We cooked several breakfasts in the excellent kitchen as well as one meal for five. The apartment is easy to get to by cab or subway -- being right by the Franklin Avenue Shuttle was convenient for two of us that had some mobility issues (though an ability to climb stairs was still a must), and two main-line subway stations were also not far away with access to Manhattan as well as downtown Brooklyn. Highly recommended.
