Year Purchased: 1974
We are the Lundy's. Our father designed the house and our mother cut every brick to build it. Our family is grown and now we rent out our home to a select few. You will understand why when you see the pictures of this incredible home.
Why the Owner Chose Other Aspen Properties
We first moved to Aspen in the late 1950's, left and came back to this incredible town again in the early 1970's. The Lundy House has been our home since we built it in 1974. This remarkable house has stirred awe and controversy. Now Aspen wants it to be on the Historical Preservation List. No matter what, you will truly enjoy staying here for either a short vacation or an entire school year.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This is a house for a couple or small families and friends to be together. There is a magnificent great room where you can enjoy everyone's company. The location is ideal- quiet and away from Main Street, yet just a short beautiful walk to down town or the Aspen Institute.
