  hello potential renters! this is jeri, the owner. i just figured out this week that i could post reviews (even tho i have been renting our lovely cabin since 7/2009) so i have added several that i have gotten over the last couple years. i have more at the cabin in my guest book that i will add when i am next up there....my cabin is awesome and seems like it is at the top of the world away from all the "hustle & bustle"!   Just returned home (Christmas Day) after a fabulous week in this beautiful location. We arrived to a gorgeous snowfall which led to much sledding and lots of snowball fights! The property is beautiful and the home was so warm and inviting. We loved every minute and hope to return some day. Thanks Jeri "

  Jeri--Just wanted to let you know that we had a WONDERFUL weekend at your cabin! The weather was cold and windy but good enough to get out and see things on Saturday. But your cabin is so comfortable and ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL that we were delighted to stay right there and spend our time together! When we turned onto Grassy Knob and saw the beautifully lit cabin on the top of the mountain, I said "Maybe that's our house!" How truly excited we were that it was!! We loved all of the beautiful Christmas decorations! The fireplace was awesome too! Thank you again for sharing your "Jewel" with us... I'm ready to move in any time!   Hi Jeri--Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had this week…. We loved the house and were just blown away when we woke to the sight of the mountains on Saturday morning.....the snow was falling so heavily on Friday that the visibility was zero and we had no idea of how gorgeous the view was. The home was so cozy and comfortable and a great time was had by all. Thanks for sharing this beautiful cabin!

  Hi Jeri--Just a note to say thanks for your prompt refund of the deposit. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin accommodated us very well. WE hand never been to the Lake Lure area. We kept busy visiting places. To stay cool we floated down the Green River. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us….Bob

  Hi Jeri - Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful weekend and your house is absolutely gorgeous! The views were breathtaking and the house was so comfortable and fit our three families perfectly. We didn't want to leave.

  Dear Jeri--I want to let you know how much our group enjoyed your cabin. It was a wonderful time of relaxation and fellowship. One of the couples in the group got engaged on the back porch while watching the beautiful sunset. Others in our group have gone without seeing each other for a year or so, and there was no place we would have rather reunited. We enjoyed the serenity of the cabin, yet visited Chimney Rock and went tubing on the Green River. The kitchen got plenty of use as we cooked every meal at the cabin. Everything ran smoothly in the house as you assured us. I did not personally utilize the hot tub, but a few of us took a dip on Saturday night as the weather cooled down. Thank you again for letting us use your cabin. There are many great memories to take away from our vacation. I would love to stay in touch and hopefully return one day. I hope your Labor Day trip ends well….God Bless, Josh

  Hi Jeri, My husband and I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your home at Lake Lure. We didn't really do that much...but it was a very relaxing three days. We did go to Chimney Rock...but the elevator was not working. We walked it instead. Boy was that a challenge!!! What a gorgeous view you have from the back deck. The leaves were not in full bloom, but we actually watched them change some while we were there. We especially enjoyed your wall hangings of faith and Gods love. I wrote you a page in your comment book on the kitchen table also. We definitly want to come back again....sooner than later. Thanks again Jeri. God Bless you and have a good day,
