An enjoyable 5 minute stroll gets you into town so renting a vehicle will not be necessary. A Reserved Parking spot in the covered garage is available for those who do rent a jeep.

Cruz Bay offers excellent shopping, fine restaurants, evening entertainment and affordable transportation to the famous St. John National Park beaches. One of the benefits of your stay in this rental is the option to take a 20 minute walk to two of St. John’s most pristine and private beaches, Salomon and Honeymoon beaches.

Inside your unit you will have beautiful views from all of the living areas and kitchen. This is a highly desirable End Unit with the most sweeping views in the entire resort. You will be staying in a Full Size 1 bedroom, not a smaller “lock out” unit that is part of a two bedroom offered by others. The bedroom features a King Size bed with a separate private patio and flat screen TV.

The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, bar area and entertainment center. Our fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances has all you need to fix everything from a gourmet meal to blending refreshing frozen island drinks. When it is time to venture out onto the beautiful island, no need to fret about beach supplies, your new home-away-from-home comes fully stocked with beach towels, chairs and coolers.

You will want to spend lots of time relaxing on the outside terrace which is mostly covered, but also has an uncovered area to work on that tan. From the terrace you will never tire of the unobstructed views ranging from the deserted off shore islands nestled in the Windward Passage to the sailboats skimming through Pillsbury Sound to the dramatic Sunsets resting upon St. Thomas.

Why the Owner Chose Cruz Bay

We couldn't find a better location on St. John that would give us both spectacular views and the convenience of being so close to town. Being able to walk everywhere means a lot to us. We don't always feel like we need to rent a jeep which is a plus. It is also nice not to have to worry about driving after having maybe one too many Painkillers at the Beach Bar. Having a reserved parking space in the covered garage is a great benefit. No more parking hassles driving into Cruz Bay.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

We love that we have a view of the water from every living area. We have sweeping views that we never tire of from the terrace. The terrace is furnished for outdoor dining and it is the perfect spot for sipping morning coffee and checking out all that is going on in the harbor. Cocktails while watching the unbelievable St. John sunsets are always a highlight of the day. We can't get over how easy it is to do everything we want on St. John starting right from our condo. It is so easy to get to all the shops, restaurants and bars. There are also hikes into the National Park we can take starting right from our place. Maybe our favorite thing to do is to walk to Salomon beach on the great National Park trail.

My wife and I live in Wilmington, NC, but absolutely love our 2nd home on St. John. We have been traveling to St. John every year since 2001 and are excited every time we get to go back to our St. John escape.

      COMMENTS FROM RECENT GUESTS: Not only are we vets of a prior St. John visit, but vets of renting homes, condos, villas, etc. over the years in Europe, the States and the Caribbean. Your place is ideal and pretty much exceeded our expectations on all counts. It has location to the nth power. It is incomparable for those who want a relaxing view and to be close to just about everything that one could need or want. A car really is not necessary, unless one wanted to spend a day just seeing what the rest of the island looks like. We spent most of our beach days hiking into Solomon (spelled differently by others) and Honeymoon (visit early or late to avoid the "cattle boats" from St.Thomas). We would advise people to do the Noah's Ark dinghy rental thing to see the island from the water, which is the way to really enjoy the island view (we lived in the Florida Keys for years and they are much prettier seen from the water rather than from US 1). Condo appointments....excellent. Stuff needed to enjoy the visit from items to take to the beach to cooking equipment worked out great. We like to cook in (the best dining venue in town is your terrace) and we had everything including olive oil that you provided. We had plenty of electronic stuff with us to keep up with whatever interested us (thanks to the WiFi) and your CD and DVD selection worked out well when we wanted movies (we loved The Second Hand Lion) and some Buffet ,Marley or island tunes. Cleanliness....excellent. Would we stay again....Absolutely (as in next November). Recommend it to others...why would anyone want to stay anywhere else! Your place could not have been better for us. It was excellent. My wife and I thought the location was great and the condo was first class.I really can not think of any thing that would have made the stay more comfortable. The person who met us at the dock and showed us to your place was great. even the beach chairs and cooler made the beach day trips easier. We will be in touch the next time we go back to St.john.
