Absolutely perfect. The condo was immaculate, photos don't do it justice. Everything that you could need from Cuisinart coffee maker to beach chairs. Thankfully the beaches are so gorgeous or we might never have been able to tear ourselves away from the amazing view from the balcony--- a perfect birds-eye-view of the harbor, mesmerizing and just delightful to watch all the action. Condo was easy walking distance to the shops, beach bar, taxis etc. The owners were such a pleasure to correspond with, we could tell that they really wanted us to have a wonderful vacation and to enjoy their vacation spot. We have already told several friends and relatives about this ideal getaway.

A Week in Heaven!!

What a wonderful week we had in your fabulous condo! This was our first week on the island of St John and we will definitely be back and will definitely hope to book this unit again. From morning breakfasts on the balcony to sunset cocktails we wanted for nothing. We were steps from the dining and drinking at wharfside village and we had some great meals. Low Key Watersports was right next door which was perfect for John and his morning dives. The beaches were spectacular with Solomon Beach and Cinnamon Bay being our favorites. Thank you Peter and Leslie for sharing your condo with us. You were wonderful to work with!!

My husband and I traveled to St.John for the first time and absolutely loved your condo. Not only is it spacious, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and appointed, it has (hands down) the best view in all of Cruz Bay! The location is superb - a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. This condo has everything and anything you could need or ask for during your trip to St. John. Since returning home, I have recommended it to many of my friends, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in beautiful St. John.

Our 2012 Escape!!

We have been staying at this condo in Grande Bay for three straight years! We are already booked for 2 weeks in 2013 for our 4th "Escape" to paradise,1 week on the island is just not enough.I am a clean freak and this condo is ALWAYS immaculate. It has everything you could ever need for the kitchen, bath and the beach. The view from the balconey is amazing, a great place to have breakfast and watch the boats go out for the day. After a day at the beach you can come back and enjoy a beautiful sunset while having a glass of wine or drink of choice. It is a short walk into Cruz Bay and enjoy the bars, the shopping and the wonderful restaurants. We still haven't hit all the restaurants in 3 yrs! We have recommended this condo to many of our friends and many new friends we have met on St John.Peter and Leslie have always answered any questions promptly-we feel like we have known them forever.

This was our fourth visit to St. John (our favorite place in the Caribbean) and our nicest stay yet because of your well equipped condo. The ever changing view from the balcony was a daily delight. We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to stores and restaurants. Our favorite day(s) always started with breakfast on the balcony. We are sorry our two weeks are up but we leave with wonderful memories and the hope that we will soon return.

My Fiance and I stayed at the Grande Bay from November 12th - November 21st. The unit is spacious, clean and well decorated. It has a large balcony overlooking Cruz Bay. The location is fabulous! You walk out of Grande Bay and all the Bars/Restaurants are literally steps away! It was so convenient. The unit comes with a parking space and is also walking distance from the Car Rental Company. If you do not want to rent a car you can easily grab a shared taxi. All in all I really loved the unit and felt it was a great deal for the money charged per night! We really look forward to returning one day.

We had a wonderful 10th anniversary vacation this week in St. John. The condo was perfect for us! Beautiful tasteful decoration, such a convenient location, an amazing view from the balcony - perfect! Every day we explored a new place or activity-snorkeling, hobie cat, hiking, dinghy, hanging out at the beach. Loved the variety of restaurants. Incredible is the only word to describe our entire vacation. We, like many others, live an extremely hectic life, and life on St. John was a breath of fresh air for us both. Even though we had plans every day we were here, it still was relaxing and laid back. The accommodations at your condo were excellent. Every detail to make your home away from home was top notch. This was was our 2nd time staying at St. John Escape and we absolutely loved it again! The condo is very clean, well stocked, and has a convenient location. Several of our favorite things to do were hike to soloman, unwind at beach bar with food and drinks, and hop from beach to beach. Spectacular views and the perfect get away for couples!

Thank you so much for making your home available to us for the first 10 days of the new year. It was absolutely everything you had represented and more. We loved the feeling of "home" it gave us. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to St. John. Your villa was beautiful and absolutely perfect for us. The location was fabulous, exactly what we wanted. There is not a single thing that we would change about the whole trip. We had such an amazing time and can not wait to go back. Todd has already started planning our next trip for 2012, but this time we will stay for 2 weeks. October is a perfect time to go to St. John as we had many of the beaches all to ourselves and had perfect weather the entire time. We did not want to leave! Rachelle was fabulous, we can not say enough good things about her and what she does!! The books in the villa were so helpful and we even bought 2 of them to keep for next time. We had a wonderful time vacationing on St. John and definitely plan to come back! The condo was perfect for us and such a great location. The patio was great for morning coffee and drinks in the evening. We loved walking across the street to the Beach Bar and to Mojo Cafe - great food! The condo was very well-equipped and we had fun snorkeling, kayaking going to dinner, and enjoying the beaches/hiking. Overall a perfect get away for my husband and I. We want to thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely St. John condominium last week. We absolutely loved everything about it. To be more specific: the location is very convenient for walking to bars/dining where there is no parking, the central a/c felt heavenly after a long day at the beach, your beach chairs and cooler were perfect for taking lunch to the beach each day, your internet connection enabled us to keep in touch with family back home, and your i-pod capable stereo sounded great. We loved sitting on your deck eating breakfast and watching the bay come to life each morning and then again later in the evening for sipping a cocktail while watching a gorgeous colorful sunset. We also want to thank you for your dining and snorkeling recommendations. Our favorite meals were eaten at Spyglass, Cactus on the Blue, and ZoZo's. For takeout we enjoyed Uncle Joe's BBQ and the G-Spot Italian Sub. Our best snorkeling outing was when we drove to Leinster Bay and snorkeled out and around Waterlemon Cay. There we saw sea turtles, starfish, barracuda, fish, coral, stingray, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, etc. We went to a different beach each day and loved them all. The entire week was fabulous and we hope to return as soon as we can. We will definitely contact you for future reservations. Thank you again for everything!

We had an amazing, relaxing and fun time! Your St. John home is beautiful and so well equipped. Having the beach chairs, towels and coolers made our trips to the beach convenient and enjoyable. Our favorite beach was Honeymoon for its beauty and privacy. It is just a short hike, but well worth it. Of course all of the beaches here are some of the most beautiful in the world! Just a short walk to shopping, restaurants and to catch a taxi to the beach! Again, we had a wonderful time and we are already dreaming of having morning coffee on the porch watching the sun rise and set on our next visit.

What can I say. . . except Robert and I had possibly one of the BEST vacations we've had in a long time; not only in the Caribbean, but certainly in St. John! I know I don't need to belabor you with comments you already receive on how well appointed your condominium unit is -- it is in fact exemplary, even down to the last detail. We left you an artistic rendering in both the condo comments book and the user friendly manual. Especially nice was the fact that there were small, but essential amenities: mustard salt pepper, etc. It was such a pleasure too, to have the harbor views and the delightful trade winds to blow any pesky insects away.

Had a wonderful time on St. John! Your condo was the perfect place - location was great! Well equipped esp with the beach chairs and cooler we used every day while visiting some of the most beautiful bays! Your suggestions for dining were excellent. Just want to let you know that we had a wonderful "Escape" to St John. We had the time of our lives, the condo was the best location, the views from the deck were awesome, from watching the ferry boats to breathtaking rainbows and an easy two minute walk to town. The ten days we stayed there was too short, I will be talking to you soon to set our dates for 2011. We met so many nice people on the island, it is truly Paradise.We had one of our best dinners ever at Asolare, food was fantastic as was the beautiful sunset!! Had Han from Fly Girl sail us over to Jost Van Dyke with a snorkel stop along the way, had a great grouper sandwich at Foxy's and a couple of drinks at the Soggy Dollar. Thanks again for letting us stay at your condo, it was the most relaxing vacation we have been on.

We had a wonderful time in Saint John and the condo was perfect for us. The little extra's, Cooler, chairs and towels were great. We hiked every day and spent a little time at the beach. Rachelle was at the dock to meet us and spent a considerable time with us that evening just giving us pointers. The island is very easy to get around on and we went from end to end. Had lunch in Coral Bay (different area to say the least), but Salt Pond beach and hiking was very nice there. We ended up at the Westin for the spa and that was very nice. thank you for your help and allowing us to enjoy your condo. The view is the best in the complex I would believe. The pool did open and we walked down there, it is lovely, we are not really lay by the pool people, but it is very nice. We sincerely hope we can go back in the future and have the use of this lovely unit. I have already given info to one and two more want the info!

We had the wonderful experience of staying at your condo from Novemer 3rd (our 10th wedding anniversary) to November 9th. The location was perfect! The condo was perfect! We loved to sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy a coffee and the amazing view... and of course in the evening, with a glass of wine and a sunset. There really isn't a requirement for a vehicle, however I would recommend renting for a day or two to check out the remainder of the Island. Don't miss the Balcony Bar.. Rob and Marek are great bartenders. Tell them we recommended them... they serve drinks in glass..imagine that! Food... Zozos has the best Risoto that I have ever had. Beach bar.. great for inexpensive meals. Cafe Roma - good Italian.. share a meal.. way too much food. Gotta go to Woody's for Happy Hour! The condo was clean, well stocked and perfect for our needs. Everything looked unused. We would defintely recommend your condo to anyone heading to St.John. Roy and Cavell

COMMENTS FROM RECENT GUESTS: Not only are we vets of a prior St. John visit, but vets of renting homes, condos, villas, etc. over the years in Europe, the States and the Caribbean. Your place is ideal and pretty much exceeded our expectations on all counts. It has location to the nth power. It is incomparable for those who want a relaxing view and to be close to just about everything that one could need or want. A car really is not necessary, unless one wanted to spend a day just seeing what the rest of the island looks like. We spent most of our beach days hiking into Solomon (spelled differently by others) and Honeymoon (visit early or late to avoid the "cattle boats" from St.Thomas). We would advise people to do the Noah's Ark dinghy rental thing to see the island from the water, which is the way to really enjoy the island view (we lived in the Florida Keys for years and they are much prettier seen from the water rather than from US 1). Condo appointments....excellent. Stuff needed to enjoy the visit from items to take to the beach to cooking equipment worked out great. We like to cook in (the best dining venue in town is your terrace) and we had everything including olive oil that you provided. We had plenty of electronic stuff with us to keep up with whatever interested us (thanks to the WiFi) and your CD and DVD selection worked out well when we wanted movies (we loved The Second Hand Lion) and some Buffet ,Marley or island tunes. Cleanliness....excellent. Would we stay again....Absolutely (as in next November). Recommend it to others...why would anyone want to stay anywhere else!

Your place could not have been better for us. It was excellent. My wife and I thought the location was great and the condo was first class.I really can not think of any thing that would have made the stay more comfortable. The person who met us at the dock and showed us to your place was great. even the beach chairs and cooler made the beach day trips easier. We will be in touch the next time we go back to St.john.
