“Whitehead Lodge” is the perfect Peaks Island vacation home. Just steps to the ocean, it has gorgeous views of Whitehead Passage, Cushing Island and Hadlocks Cove. Originally built in the early 1900s, it just underwent a complete restoration. A few of the many features include: a spacious open living area, hardwood floors throughout, beautiful cottage style kitchen with lots of great storage and work space, a covered open porch and a second level roof top deck with views to die for! Sleeping for 8, with 3 private bedrooms and 2 baths, plus an outside shower and a great patio garden area. Along with its charm, character and incredible views, one of its very special features is its location. It’s only a 4 min. walk to “Down Front,” Peaks Island’s village area where shops restaurants and ferry dock are located!

Whitehead Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy Peaks. The Lodge is lovely with all the amenities in each room that made our stay so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck at night to watch the stars and sitting on the front porch mid afternoon to watch the people bicycling and walking by. And of course the location was perfect for getting our youngsters to the beach and to ice cream. I can't say enough good things about Whitehead Lodge...I can't wait to go back.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
