  The properties location and description was perfect, more than we could have hoped for. We were made more than welcome by gilly and Humphrey who were the perfect hosts, giving us full and sole use of their beautiful gardens and pool.a big thank you to Michelle gilly and humphreys housekeeper for looking after us during our vacation on the fabulous sugar hill,

  We spent 10 days at Orange Walk Studio in January 2012. The studio was lovely and exactly as pictured on the website. It was very clean and well maintained. As indicated on the website, the unit is in a large home in an upscale gated community. The inside part of the unit included a bedroom, washroom and small kitchenette. Outdoors there was a covered dining and living area beside a private pool. During our stay we had the pool to ourselves. Although the kitchenette was small, there was also a BBQ so we were able to make many of our meals at the unit. We also had a dinner at the restaurant in the Club House - it was lovely. The studio is a 5 minute drive to the beach, Holetown or the main highway so it is very convenient to everything. The hosts were very welcoming and offered to help us with anything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orange Walk Studio and would certainly return.

  Staying at Sugar Hill is a luxury and a hugely enjoyable experience. The studio is well appointed and simply but well decorated and comfortable. The pool and pool deck area are enticing. The house and estate are well located for beaches, tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. The club house provides an alternative comfortable venue. When the restaurant there is open it provides an excellent and good value meal. The owners are welcoming and provide help or advice as required. I would certainly recommend this studio especially for anyone who is looking for a quiet and stylish holiday.

  My wife and I enjoyed a week in March 2011 at the studio. Situated on a hillside the steady breeze and good cross ventilation kept it comfortable w/o need for AC (couldn't get it to work but not a problem). The kitchenette has small fridge and microwave - o.k. for simple breakfasts but don't plan to do much cooking. Small point but the kitchenette should be better defined, along with the relationship to the other bedrooms. Everything else was as expected and the property is well maintained with maid service most days which was very nice (incl. laundry!). We did find a place in Holetown that sold prepared meals that could be microwaved and did that for two quiet dinners with a bottle of wine by the pool. The eating area is outside (covered) by the pool. If the owner has guests (as was the case when we were there) the guest bedrooms (2) are adjacent to the pool as well so the arrangement is not completely private. We were told in advance this would be the case. Everyone including the owners when they returned from a trip were very friendly and helpful. Though we used the small pool a few times, the large infinity pool up the hill at the resort was perfect and has a beautiful view out over the ocean (and very quiet when we were there). The property grounds are very nice, and the whole resort well kept and safe. Recommend renting car, Holetown for shopping, restaurants 10 minute drive down hill. Location is good for access to beaches, restaurants, activities. We had a great time. Considering returning to Sugar Hill but would look into a condo with full kitchen and fully private which is more our preference.
