A townhouse right on the beach is a unique property.

This was rebuilt in 2003 and redecorated in 2006 and repainted in 2008. This three-story unit exits right on to the beach from the first and second floors. All three floors have large, private balconies. The view is excellent from all three floors.

Once you reach the bottom of the steps, your feet hit sand. The walk to the beach, unlike large condominiums, is less then 20 steps. If you have to go inside for a drink or bathroom, it is not a long haul. The other properties nearby are also townhouses and private houses, so there are no large crowds like in front of the big resorts and condominiums. It is much like your own private beach.

There is also a very, large deck where you can hang out away from the sand and barbecue, etc.

The outlet mile is one mile away. It is four miles away from downtown Destin and two miles away from Sandestin. It is about 15 miles away from Seaside.

The unit just completed construction and this is the first time it has ever appeared on the rental market. The decor is a Cape Cod, beachy style. Everything inside is brand new and decorated by a professional designer. There are brand-new televisions in all the bedrooms and the den. There are also DVD players, a VCR, and stereo. You will not be disappointed.

There are 3 bedrooms and a den off the kitchen.
The first and largest bedroom is a 1st floor Master Suite with a private balcony overlooking the beachfront . It features a King Size bed, a Queen Murphy Bed and a Living are with a sofa and love seat. This room also has a jaquzzi tub and seamless glass shower.
The second Master Bedroom is on the 3rd floor and has it's own private balcony overlooking the beach as well. It features a King size bed and a bath/shower.
The 3rd bedroom is a children's room with 6 twin matresses all together. There are two sets of bunk beds and 2 trundle beds below. It's also perfectly suitable for adults to sleep in.
The Kitchen is modern and state of the art!
The Den features a sleeper sofa.

    • Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: This is off the kitchen area on the balcony. it has to be electric because you are not allowed to have fire on the balconies. You may bring a hibachi to use on beach, but I don't keep one as people will use it on the balconies if I provide it.
    • Balcony: One off of each floor. 2nd floor and 1st floor lead down to beach. Sand is right at the bottom of the stairs.
    • Lanai: The 2 with beach access are mentioned above as balconies.

  • Suitability
    • No Pets Allowed: Will make an exception for a small dog, well trained, & doesn't shed to badly. Dogs are not allowed on the beach anymore, even with a leash. You must go out the front door and walk them on the sidewalk along side Old Hwy 98.
    • Kid Friendly: 3rd floor window is accessible from the kids bunkbeds. Please remove Pella handle and hide it if your kids are of the age where they could operate it. Please replace on checkout. Do not allow them to jump off bunk beds as some kids inevitably enjoy doing once they get there.
    • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: I will rent to spring breakers, however, I have higher rates, higher deposits, and they will be checked on by the housekeeper who lives a block away. No more than 14 allowed in the unit at one time or face immediate eviction. All people who will sleep in the unit must read and sign the rental agreement.
    • Smoking Not Allowed: If you smoke out on the beach, please do not leave butts outside or on the beach when you check out.
