This property has so many attributes which are perfect for any family looking to have a relaxing and convenient property to stay during your time here. We have beautiful Ocean Views and located within walking distance to the beach and harbor.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We like to walk to the harbor, have dinner and enjoy the ocean breezes. The beaches are great for kids and just a 10 minute walk. Everything you need is walking distance. We are situated close to the downtown area of Dana Point, the Harbor and the beach. There are great restaurants and cafes, spas, pilates, and shops. But mostly we enjoy just chilling at home, taking in the view.

Our vacation was wonderful!! The pictures do not convey how beautiful this house is. As a chef I was very impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was, it far exceeded my expectations. The owners were extremely helpful and very easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend this house!!!

The house all in all was ok. We stayed next door at the white house a couple years ago and had a much better experience. This house did not have ANY kitchen utensils that we needed for a group of 12 that cooked meals at the house daily. There was no tupperware, and a limited supply of pots and pans. You would think with paying the amount of money that we did, there would at least be kitchen supplies. I didn't like the fact that check in wasn't until 3 pm and check out was 10 am. That's a little impossible with a group of 12. Might want to look into changing check out to at least 11 am because we had the cleaning lady knocking on our door at 9:30. Also, I thought the bed situation was a little ridiculous. Had 3 twin rollaways instead of investing in another good bed. Again, for paying what we did, I didn't think I'd have to have 3 people in my group on a rollaway bed. We never could figure out the jet tub in the master. There wasn't any clocks on the main level. Kind of weird. Finally, I thought the owner (or at least the person I communicated with) seemed very inconvenienced by my phone calls. She said she'd call me back to let me know more about mass transit since I didn't live in the area and I had a group of 12 I was trying to transport, and she never once called me back. Thought this was the least she could do for us. Would have liked to know a little bit more up front. Can't say we'll be returning to this house. We had a good time regardless because we were on vacation. Hopefully some of you will read this before considering this rental.
Owner response:I am truly sorry that it slipped my mind to call this guest back. But, I had answered her question regarding mass transit. I did forget to call her back regarding the best night clubs in the area. As regards the other issues: -There is an ABUNDANT of kitchen utensils. (Drawers full, plus more in pantry) -Tupperware, yes we just got more. A lot of times guest leave food in them and they get thrown away. Constantly replenishing. -Check in and out time are clearly listed on the contract she signed 6 months ago, we try to accommodate late and early check in/out if possible, she didn’t even ask. -Types of beds are clearly listed on the website. -The jet tub works just fine. -As for the cleaning lady knocking on the door at 9:30 this is simply not true. It was closer to 11am that anyone knocked on the door. (I have a text message that clearly proves this)
Recommended for:Age 55+.

This house truly is BEAUTIFUL!! We had an amazing weekend here, and I just can't stop thinking about how I wish to come back again! We decided to rent the home as a small getaway while we were in California visiting family. This house is GORGEOUS, with a beautiful view. It definitely felt like home and was comfortable. The house is well stocked with anything and everything you can imagine having in your own home. I wanted to bake this weekend, and was worried about what may be available to me, but there was nothing the house did not have for me! Communicating with the owners was very smooth and easy. They made sure that all of our requests were taken care of and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thank you again for letting us into your home and for making this such a pleasant and easy experience!

This house is amazing! As soon as we stepped into the house, we all marveled at the beautiful, modern decor, but most of the all, the view! The pictures here say it all. The owners were very friendly and quick to respond to any glitch we ran into. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we need; we even bbq'ed on the patio. We had 13 people and we all had a bed to sleep on (2 kids used the roll-way beds provided). The kids especially enjoyed playing darts in the garage! :) There are plenty of books and magazines in the house for your reading pleasure. There were boogie boards and sand toys in the garage for use at the beach. Neighborhood is very quiet and a there's a nice, small park just a few steps away with manicured lawn. The owners even provided a pass to the State Beach so we didn't have to pay the $15 entry fee. We highly recommend visiting the Doheny State Beach, Dana Point Harbor and the Ocean Institute, just a short drive away. There's a tide pool at the end of the dana point harbor area that's worth exploring. We also visited Crytal Cove State Beach - beautiful quiet beach with a huge tide pool area. While at Crystal Cove - get a smoothie from the Shake Shack - yum! Beachcomber is a restaurant down ON the beach - reservation required way in advance.

We really enjoyed our stay at your place. We had a total of (12) people staying and we had enough room to enjoy ourselves and to have our own space. The view was beautiful. The home and decorations as well. We had a great time going to a couple of different beaches, our favorite was salt creek beach(except for the awful walk with the hill) we too LOVE Salt Crek Grill. Our all time favorite. We enjoyed playing many games, watching movies, cooking yummy meal in your home. Thank you for the stay! It was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at your home here in Dana Point. With (4) teenagers and (3) adults. We all had plenty of space to relax and have some privacy. You had all the comforts of home and many conveniences, well thought out. We enjoyed the beautiful decor, the patios, the great kitchen (cooked several meals here) and made use of the beach chairs and boogie boards. We even left a couple boogie boards and a beach umbrella for your next guests. The location was awesome and we enjoyed many beaches, LA and San Diego. If we visit this area again we would definitely come back. Thank you for making our vacations so wonderful!

This house is better than we could have imagined. It had incredible ocean views from everywhere in the house. The décor was impeccable! It was close to all the great beaches and harbor, but also had easy access to the freeway, so we could easily get to Disneyland as well as Sea World and the Zoo. The house was immaculate and well-equipped. Danielle and Charlotte were extremely nice & helpful. Thanks!
