The Main House - San Juan Islands, Orcas Island, Orcas, WA - Washington State Vacation Rental - Panoramic Mountain & Water Views on Large Private Estate! Come HOME to the "Family Farm!" We specialize in family retreats for singles, couples, small families and large re-union groups up to 15 people on our 35 acre farm and horse back riding facility. Choose to stay in 1) Our spacious 3 or 5 bedroom Split Level Private Guest House with party size outdoor dining decks with views. This home has 5 queens in 5 private bedrooms, plus 5 singles in a large family room on lower level. You may also rent separately: just the top 3 bedroom portion of the home, or just the bottom 2 bedroom level + family room with single beds. Both levels have private kitchens. Bottom level only is pet friendly. 2) Our Carriage House Building: with full country kitchen and 2 separate cabins including 2 queen beds, 2 doubles, 1 sofa. The Sunshine Studio in the Carriage Building is pet friendly. Other units are pet free for people sensitive to dander. 3) 4 Private Bedrooms & 2 bathrooms in the Main Lodge. This lovely manor home was built by a member of the famous Whittier family from Beverly Hills, oil billionaires. Perfect for shorter stays, couples, singles, friends. When you reserve a lodging, the owner will personally assist you with your Orcas Island vacation plans. You will receive a confirmation packet outlining the details of your lodging, literature and maps of our island, a recreation guide, restaurant recommendations, a personal history about our farm and animals, plus horse back riding information. For those guests who delight in observing nature by foot, you will be pleased to know that there are numerous hiking trails on our farm with many opportunities for viewing bald eagles, hawks, and waterfowl. Frogs, ducks, hawks and eagles,rabbits,mink,and the deer are everywhere! In addition to free style nature hiking, biking and kayaking.... opportunities abound for gallery shopping, eating at award winning restaurants, wandering in the open art and farm markets in town. However, if you want to keep your vacation to a "slow pace," plan to spend more of your precious time on our farm taking advantage of our quiet natural surroundings.
