Our family group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The check in/check out process was easy, the property was spotless and well kept, the beds comfortable, and living areas spacious. We enjoyed playing in the bay with the kayak and rowboat, fishing and swimming off the dock, grilling out, and fixing s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. Our stay at this beach house was nothing short of magical. We could not have chosen a better location for our wedding and reception. The owner was accomodating and attentive to our needs. When one encounters an impeccably maintained property situated in what must be one of the most beautiful settings in New England the result can only be described as enchanting, and for this extended family the week spent on the shore of Narragansett Bay could not have been more perfect. From the moment you leave the highway and begin the drive down the lane you just know you’re in for something special. The property is wonderfully secluded and inviting. The home itself is a blend of elegance and comfort, with everything one could want on hand. Once there, you will neither need nor want to leave except perhaps for more food and drink to enjoy in the delightful kitchen and dining room. The bedrooms and baths are perfect for family. Everything is spotlessly clean. The deck, the outdoor fireplace, and the lounge area at water’s edge beg for people to gather and enjoy each other’s company, which we did to the fullest. We cooked magnificent meals, read to each other, fished, made smores over the fire, and had one of the best times of our lives. Sunrise over the water is stunning, and the lights of working boats headed out to sea at night capped a perfect day. This lovely property is much more than a vacation house. It’s a place that provides everything a family and friends need for an experience they’ll remember and cherish together forever.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

If you are lucky enough to have found this listing and it is available snap it up quickly without hesitation! This fabulous home is truly above and beyond compared to the typical Narragansett summer rental property (which can seem more like a college rental than a summer home). The house is spotless and beautifully decorated with all the high end ammenities you would love to have in your own home (stunning immaculate chef's kitchen with double ovens, large refrigerator, etc., sound system, fireplace, lots of modern bathrooms, huge master suite with private deck and a bathroom that is the size of my first NYC studio apt.!....). And the property that the house sits on is even more impressive with its ultra private estate like setting, breathtaking views and all the little touches like an outdoor cooking pit area, tiki torches and chairs set up at the edge of the water that offer sweeping tranquil views. On our last night of our stay we were even treated to the perfect view of Newport fireworks! And the long "private road" driveway to the house is perfect for little kids' bikes. The location of the house is just as great. We had easy car trips to Providence for the children's zoo, Newport for shopping and dinner, the Block Island ferry at Point Judith and lots of area beaches. We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. Perfect for swimming, boating. kayaking and fishing......or just relax and enjoy the beautiful vista. The grounds are very spacious, with a front lawn that sweeps down to a private jetty and deck. The house is very well equipped with four full bathrooms....each one beautifully finished. There were nine people in our family group and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the amenity offered by this beautiful property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed here with our two young daughters. It is a stunning home, ideally situated on the water, with a small private beach perfect for children. The house is in beautiful condition and all amenities are exactly as descried. What is difficult to describe is the sound of the waves, the wind in the trees, the perfect privacy, the dining on the deck with water views, the sense of peace, and the many, many happy memories from our week of vacation. Thank you very much for a beautiful vacation and we hope to return next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

From start to (sad) finish, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this vacation rental. The pictures are great, yes, but the actual view is to die for. ENJOY!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful home in late May. The home and its furnishings are lovely, bathrooms and kitchen are state of the art, and the waterfront and views are extraordinary. We would highly recommend to a group/family of 10 or less who desires a quality and quiet vacation on Narragansett Bay.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We could not have felt more comfortable at the Davis vacation home. The seclusion and beautiful scenery was exactly what we needed to unwind. Our family has had a wonderful week in your lovely, lovely home. We have so enjoyed all the sitting places (patio, porch, under the trees, in front of the water) in order to avail ourselves of the glorious bay view complete with gentle breezes. Cooking is a delight in your fabulous kitchen, and having the kayak and boogie boards were wonderful additions to the things we brought for the water. Of course Dave and I thought the Master Bedroom was wonderful! We enjoyed our proximity to Newport and Jamestown. We appreciated being able to use the mooring for our sailboat - that was an added perk! We were afforded the opportunity to stay at this remarkable property because the owners generously offered a stay through an auction to benefit a local charity. We won the auction the 1st year and were so impressed we made a point to be the winning bidder again the next year. Both of our stays at this property left my family and I with fond and lasting memories. We have travelled extensively and stayed at some of the world's top resorts and some extraordinary private homes and I would rate this property as one of the best I have ever seen. The property is maintained in a flawless fashion. All furningings and equipment are top-quality and virtually new. The grounds are superb and the views are unequalled. The owners are charming and delightful folks who will work hard to assure you a most satisfactory and memorable stay. The home is spacious, comfortable and stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. This property is tastefully decorated and includes many special touches. The master bedroom suite is enormous, private and comfortable. My children fished and went kyaking from the dock every day. It is a great spot for a family vacation. With an open floor plan and a fully equiped kitchen, the home is perfect for entertaining. There's a large deck and an expansive yard that slopes down to the bay. The views from the property are breath taking. This area of Rhode Island offers unlimited recreational opportunities on a year-round basis. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
