Loved this loft. The bedding was so comfortable. The decor was very attractive. And loved the people watching from the front windows. The only thing it needs is a balcony and it'd be perfect. :). The parking deck across the street was not free on weekend, but it was a reasonable $8 per day. Love downtown Wilmywood! The stairwell to the loft had some steep stairs, but it was good exercise. This loft is so spacious & clean. Loved not having to worry about keys or a car.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed your stay.

This apartment was beautiful. The location was perfect for downtown Wilmington. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again. It was immaculate. We did go out while downtown but the only noise that was loud was the garbage truck on sunday at 5:00 A.M. We did enjoy the Dixie Grill (breakfast restaraunt right downstairs) on sunday morning. They had great unusual Southern dishes. The only down side was the number of steps up to the apt but I needed the exercise so it was worth it. Beautiful place and great time had by all.Owner response: Thanks so much! I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay at the Loft.

We rented this 3rd floor loft for the weekend for a friend's wedding. The location, basically at the corner of Market & Front St, could not have been more perfect. We parked the car in the free (on weekends) deck immediately across the street, and were able to walk everywhere (all meals, the wedding, and out at night). Except for going to the beach, we never needed the car. We stayed with another couple and the condo had plenty of space. We even commented that the pictures did not do it justice on how spacious it was. Friends told us about a great breakfast place just downstairs (Dixie Grill). I would recommend going down and putting your name on the list one morning. It was a 25 minute wait on Sunday when we checked out. We had a great sidewalk dinner at Front Street Brewery (take a right on Front), rooftop dancing at Reel Cafe (take a left on Front), and a fantastic lunch on the waterfront at Elijahs (take a left at the water onto the boardwalk, it's near the end). I would warn that Wilmington has a lot of nightlife and this is a prime location, so it can get loud. We were out both nights, so it wasn't a problem for us. And like I said, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The only improvement I would make is a full length mirror for those in town for special occasions :). Otherwise, we found everything we needed, and had a fantastic weekend!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
