Year Purchased: 2009
Owners are Don and Kay Eisinger who reside in Asheboro NC. They love Kure Beach especially the area that adjoins Ft. Fisher. They are unable, due to elderly parents, to spend much time at the beach, and not wanting a large lovely home to go unused, have offered it as a rental for much of the year.
Why the Owner Chose Kure Beach
Don and Kay lived in Maryland for many years where they both worked for the Library of Congress. The nearest beach was Ocean City, a beach that seemed to be always crowded and noisy. The Ft. Fisher area is a different world - a quieter world where the silence is broken by the sound of waves crashing on the beach.
