My family just spent our second summer vacation in Kure Beach at this big beautiful house. We stay in the Master bedroom with our two kids. There is a king, a pull out couch and still plenty of room to set up the portable crib. The four of us have plenty of space in here. The bathroom and deck off the master are beautiful. My brothers stay in the other two upstairs bedrooms, one is perfect for a couple and the other has a full bed and bunk beds, which my nephew loves. The main floor has a huge kitchen with enough room for everyone to help get a meal put together. There is a table in the kitchen and a big dining room table just off the kitchen. The living room has plenty of space for lounging around and the wrap around deck is awesome. The back deck area has a picnic table and gas grill, with the gas piped in so you never have to worry about filling a propane tank. Lots of room. Gates at the tops of the outside staircases so the little ones are safe. There is a laundryroom and another bedroom, which even though is on the main floor seems secluded. That room has a couple of beds in it too. We also rented the downstairs which offers 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom and smaller kitchen/livingroom. We have had two families with toddlers stay down there and they love it. Plenty of parking spaces, 2 car garage, outside shower....this place is great. Lots of elbow room. Quick walk to the beach where there is always lots of room. Owners are very nice and always made us feel welcomed. We will be back again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We recently had a family reunion in Kure Beach and this house was fabulous! The pictures do not do i justice! The house was gorgeous and was in a great area! Several times a day we walked to the beach or all the way to the Kure Beach Pier, which is less than a mile away. It is also conveniently located very close to Fort Fisher,a great place to explore. The house was more than accommodating for the 17 people that stayed. The bedrooms were very comfortable! The kitchen, dining room and living room were very cozy and accommodating! The decks that surround most of the house was wonderful as we sat in rocking chairs listening to the waves crash just a short walk away. I would certainly recommend this wonderful place in Kure Beach!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: Owners are Don and Kay Eisinger who reside in Asheboro NC. They love Kure Beach especially the area that adjoins Ft. Fisher. They are unable, due to elderly parents, to spend much time at the beach, and not wanting a large lovely home to go unused, have offered it as a rental for much of the year.
Why the Owner Chose Kure Beach:
Don and Kay lived in Maryland for many years where they both worked for the Library of Congress. The nearest beach was Ocean City, a beach that seemed to be always crowded and noisy. The Ft. Fisher area is a different world - a quieter world where the silence is broken by the sound of waves crashing on the beach.
