Located in neighborhood of historic homes 5 minutes from downtown or 8 minute drive to convention center. Hardwoods, leaded glass window, cute kitchen. Comforts of home. Washer and dryer in basement. DVD player.

A wonderful place to stay while visiting Portland friends or family or just exploring the city for fun! Not a hotel-like atmosphere with crisp designer furnishings--it's cozy, funky, mismatched, and comfortable.

Sleeps two on delightful Tempurpedic queen bed. Living room, kitchen, bath with big old tub, nice sized bedroom. Good light. Cute!

  • In addition to the good restaurants and other businesses a couple of blocks away, there's a Safeway within easy walking distance and frequent bus service to downtown Portland on Hawthorne. A great place to stay on a car-free visit to the city. As others have said, the accomodations are comfortable and the furnishings everything one needs.

  • My brother and I enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and cute no frills apartment in the bohemian neighborhood of the Hawthorne District. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer is located in the basement. Funky shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs are all within walking distance, we felt really safe walking at night, and the neighbors and people we interacted with were all friendly. Extra points for the chocolate almonds, comfy bed, info on portland's restaurants, and good communication from the owner. Thanks Laurie!!! :)
