Beautiful Sunrises Light Up the Whole House!

Wow... I am practically going through stages of grief as I mourn the end of our vacation. We had such a wonderful time. When I think of mornings sipping coffee on the couch while watching the water glimmer as the sun comes up, I find my happy place. This is most certainly what this condo was best for- sunrises and beautiful mornings as the condo fills with light. Condo was beautifully clean and well-stocked. The beach in front of the condo was a perfectly peaceful setting to come home to each day and nice for walking on, but not much for swimming; however, we did love that Ma'alaea is the perfect central location for the Lahaina and Kihei beaches. We LOVED Wailea beach! Everyone who stays here needs to know that Hula Cookies, right down the street within walking distance next to the Ocean Center, is pretty much the best dessert in all of Hawaii... but they close at 6pm, so go early! Amazing ice cream sandwiches. Beware that there is not really much food within delivery range- so don't count on ordering a pizza. Get food before heading home. Tried the Beach Bums bar down the street- it was okay, but not great. Plan to head south in the afternoons, it gets windy, which made 3pm the perfect time to head down to Wailea. Overall, this was a perfect sanctuary for my family. We spent the last three days of our vacation on the Big Island, and I honestly wish we had stayed a full week here instead. My best advice for future travelers- stay at least a week to fully enjoy the peace of this perfect Oasis.

Aloha, This was our first time in Hawaii. It was AWESOME! We came to celebrate my future Mother-In-Law's 50th Birthday and my new Fiance's proposal to me on our flight coming here. GREAT MEMORIES! March 27-April 1 2011 Our trip to Maui was beyond our best dreams. Weather was perfect, surf & sand were perfect and to say the least - THE CONDO HAS BEEN THE BEST! Jim, Just wanted to thank you and your wife. We had a wonderful wedding ceremony up on Ironwood/Kapalua Beach. Then went to The Old Lahaina Luau - it was GREAT! We took the road to Hana all the way around and back to Wailea. Cool beaches, rock croppings & scenery. Today we went to the blow hole - cool! We also went to the Waterfront. Good food!! Nice condo. We spent the New Years here and watched the fireworks on the beach! Great condo for the kids and had a lot of beach toys and chairs. We ate at Buzz's Warf - very good! Also, Mama's Fish House at sundown is a must. This was a wonderful break from -40 degrees at home in Fairbanks Alaska! Aloha - Matt, Amie, Cierra & Walker
