Beautiful Sunrises Light Up the Whole House!

Wow... I am practically going through stages of grief as I mourn the end of our vacation. We had such a wonderful time. When I think of mornings sipping coffee on the couch while watching the water glimmer as the sun comes up, I find my happy place. This is most certainly what this condo was best for- sunrises and beautiful mornings as the condo fills with light. Condo was beautifully clean and well-stocked. The beach in front of the condo was a perfectly peaceful setting to come home to each day and nice for walking on, but not much for swimming; however, we did love that Ma'alaea is the perfect central location for the Lahaina and Kihei beaches. We LOVED Wailea beach! Everyone who stays here needs to know that Hula Cookies, right down the street within walking distance next to the Ocean Center, is pretty much the best dessert in all of Hawaii... but they close at 6pm, so go early! Amazing ice cream sandwiches. Beware that there is not really much food within delivery range- so don't count on ordering a pizza. Get food before heading home. Tried the Beach Bums bar down the street- it was okay, but not great. Plan to head south in the afternoons, it gets windy, which made 3pm the perfect time to head down to Wailea. Overall, this was a perfect sanctuary for my family. We spent the last three days of our vacation on the Big Island, and I honestly wish we had stayed a full week here instead. My best advice for future travelers- stay at least a week to fully enjoy the peace of this perfect Oasis.

Jim, Just wanted to thank you and your wife. We had a wonderful wedding ceremony up on Ironwood/Kapalua Beach. Then went to The Old Lahaina Luau - it was GREAT! We took the road to Hana all the way around and back to Wailea. Cool beaches, rock croppings & scenery. Today we went to the blow hole - cool! We also went to the Waterfront. Good food!! Nice condo. We were pleased with our stay. The condominium is usual for a two bedroom unit. It was in good repair and clean and we had no problems with anything once we were past the sticky front door lock. The unit and complex are pretty and well maintained. The onsite manager was very friendly and helpful. While we were in Maui, there was a flood that damaged the only bridge out- Stephanie went far and above our expectations to help our family. She was really a wonderful help with everything we needed. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat. We loved looking out over a park and along miles of undeveloped beach- there aren't many places with this access in Maui.

This condo worked out great. Our babies first vacation was very confortable thanks to the great accomodations! We really enjoyed the play yard and the highchair. We really enjoyed this condo! Super nice to be on the beach and have use of the cooler and beach chairs and two brand new boogie boards! We traveled the entire island - loved the Maui Tropical Plantation, Iao Valley, snorkeling was great at Honolua Bay, shopping in Lahaina and we ended up buying a timeshare condo in Kaanapali! So, we will be back to Maui for sure! It has been 30 years since my last trip to Maui - 17 years ago. Thanks to Stephanie who helped us book here - loved the nice touches of the flowers and Hula cookies! We drove to Hana and swam at the Oheo pools, ate at Bubba Gumps & Moose McGillacuddy's twice each. We did not know there was a park next dorr but it was no problem with all the locals camping there. No matter how one uses the faucet in the kitchen sink you usually get a good sprinkling. Great linens, loved the fresh flowers on door - great beds even the hide-a-bed! spacious & well equipped. Nice to have beach towels & chairs -great location & convenient regardless of what Maui Revealed says about Maalaea. Stephanie was helpful, responsive & friendly! We would be happy to stay in this unit again.
