This beach house which is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and only 3 blocks from the beach makes this beach house an ideal location for a family vacation. The Bethany Proper Subdivision and Forsythia Court is very close to downtown Bethany Beach, to many restaurants, and to shopping. Don’t forget to check out the all new Bethany Beach library which is only 1 and a half blocks away. It's a great place for the kids and adults alike with internet access, books, videos, and many summer time programs. The Bethany Beach Trolley service which services all of Bethany Beach's attractions stops only steps from your front door.

Details on these costs follow:
The Town of Bethany Beach tax rate is 6% which is lower than surrounding jurisdictions; (Fenwick Island rate is 7.5%, Town of South Bethany is 8%). The taxes are required by law and local regulations. The fully refundable key and permit deposit is returned to guest upon the return of the keys, passes, and permits. The required Security Waiver provides guests with peace of mind coverage for any accidental damage to house and property up to $1000. The local administrative fee covers the local onsite support administrative costs that ensure guests have the services to enjoy their vacations.
The owners highly recommend the optional CSA Travel Insurance which is available to all guests. The owners are recent converts to the benefits of travel insurance after almost losing a sizable deposit on their family vacation due to an unanticipated circumstance. Owners will never again plan a vacation without travel insurance and therefore recommend travel insurance for guests.
Local Rental service can provide linens and optional items such as cribs or playpens. Owners provide kitchen towels, pillows, blankets, comforters, and bedspreads. Guests can either bring their own linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc) or use the local rental service to rent linens for the week. Cost of the rental service varies according to guests needs. Owners can facilitate guests with the rental service, but owners have no financial interest in the local rental service.
For your safety and comfort of your family, owners have the required licenses, permits, inspections, etc and comply with state and local regulations.

- Kid Friendly : The neighborhood is private with limited traffic providing a safe play area for children. Garage has sand and beach toys, bikes, boogie boards, balls, etc available for the family's use. The backyard is enclosed by shrubbery giving the kids a private and place to play after a hard day on the beach. The community pool is only steps away and is complete with a kiddie pool area.

After vacationing at Bethany Beach for more than 15 years, we purchased this beach house for our family. This house and Bethany Beach has provided our children with many memorable vacations and precious moments at the beach. We look forward to sharing this house with other families so that they can enjoy the house and Bethany Beach as much as we do. We gladly will share our experiences with the local eateries, places to visit, and provide your family ideas on what to do at the beach.
Why the Owner Chose Bethany Proper Townhomes
This beach house is very easy to get to and less than 3 hours from the Washington DC area. Bethany Beach is known the quiet resort for good reason. Although we routinely make day trips Ocean City Maryland and Rehobeth Beach Delaware to add some variety to our beach vacations, we very much enjoy returning in the evening to the calmness and family oriented Bethany Beach. The town has a laid back relaxing atmosphere and is very family friendly making it the perfect vacation spot.

Hi, Ed, Our group had nothing but positives to report about the house and about service. The place was in great shape and ready for our arrival. The pool staff was very friendly. We love the layout of the house because even with 10 of us, we are not on top of one another. The onsite staff processed us "in" and "out" very speedily and professionally. Carol

" We had a great time at Bethany, in a large part because of the comfort of your beach house. Quite honestly, I cannot think of anything we needed that was not provided. We cooked in a lot, and I was very comfortable using your kitchen. The house was exactly as you had advertised it on VRBO, so we knew what we were getting and there were no surprises. Check in/out went smoothly, and the house was clean and in good order when we arrived. I would stay there again without question, and would refer the property to friends and family as well. Only wish I could keep that ‘relaxed beach feeling’ throughout the year!"

"Ed, our stay at your beach house was excellent and exactly what our family needed. Your house was clean and amazingly well stocked with everything. The community pool was nice and used by all our family members. ....our plans are undecided for summer 2011. If we select Bethany Beach for our vacation, we will definitely rent your beach house."

"All [house and accommodations] worked out great. You certainly make it comfortable for your renters. We made use of some beach chairs, tennis rackets and of course bikes. Our 7 yr old had just taken off his training wheels at home and the chance to ride on vacation was all he could ask for. We rented a bike with training wheels for my 4 yr old and they both drove around the circle out front, many, many times. The accomodations and supplies you had in the house were great.
