In 1939, the Maas Family built this historic tudor house adjacent to Adolf Coors Company property. Today, the house with fenced yard (renovated in 2007) is conveniently located in a quiet, family-friendly block in downtown historic Golden, where a 3-minute walk along the Clear Creek nature trail will take you to galleries, coffee shops and boutiques. Easy access to the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, world-class ski areas, Casinos in Black Hawk, Denver and Boulder, makes Golden an ideal location for travelers.
The house is comfortably furnished with new and historic decor. Sleeping accommodations include two queen beds, two twin-size beds, as well as a sleeper sofa in the office. Views include rim rocks of North Table Mountain, Historic Castle Rock of South Table Mountain, Lookout Mountain and overlooks the Coors Brewery. Natural-style landscaping create a restful, mountain-cabin atmosphere with easy access to all the modern and historical attractions of the former Gold Rush-era town center.

We loved staying in this darling & cozy, very well appointed vacation home. Our stay here was perfect & so comfortable. It was the best location for visiting our Colorado School of Mines Oredigger son, making a CSU college visit with daughter, taking in a Rams game. Cooking dinner here with all ten of us was so fun!! This house is a great place for a family - much better than a hotel. I particularly loved the sunlight & views from the house with all the blinds open - can't wait to sit out on the back patio & front porch.

This was a great place to relax, have babies and pups play in a wonderful back yard, take walks, and visit with family. We made use of all the amenities - getting prepared for the wedding gatherings, and parties! The large downstairs bathroom is the best. The house is so charming, and CLEAN!!!! We will recommend it to family and friends for future use. Golden is a great place!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was perfect for us - we even had a yoga room! The vicinity to downtown was great and so lucky that we were here for the Arts Festival. Boulder was a fabulous day trip. Chautauqua Park for hiking!

Thanks again for renting your great house to us in Golden, we really enjoyed it. It really is a great spot. Our dog, Denali, loved to sit in the grass outside under the tree, and especially loved the river right out the back door. We bought some cheap rafts and walked up the river to do a couple floats down on Monday - it was awesome!
