Property is located mid block on bay side, one block from the beach. Saunder one block over, on the bay road, to the Viking Village where you'll find quaint little shops, inside what was the old fisherman bunks, selling everything from jewelry to fishing gear and casual wear.
Also, sample some of the local seafood at "Off the Hook" take out eatery. Just next door is the coffee shop for that morning cup of java. Want to cook in? Pick up some fresh local seafood at the fishery and fresh Jersey produce all within a block from home.
Barnegat Light is a family oriented community with plenty of leisurely activities. Barnegat Light features some of the nicest beaches on the coast. Spend a day leisurely basking in the sun and swimming or enjoy a bike ride up to the Barnegat Lighthouse.
Visit Andi's pick up some souvenirs or just gaze out across the bay at the boats as they come and go from the inlet. Or if it isn't beach weather, why not rent a small boat down the bay road at Van's or Robbie's for a day of crabbing or fishing.
Off-season you can't find a more serene, relaxing atmosphere.

Why the Owner Chose Barnegat Light
This property was purchased and the house built in 1959 by my parents. My father's family always went down to LBI for fishing a vacationing.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Barnegat Light is quieter than some of the other communities on LBI. We love spending the day at the beach just relaxing, reading and swimming. It's so nice after a day at the beach to come home and chill out on the sundeck with a cocktail before dinner. Sometimes we bike ride or take a walk and we seem to get more exercise so effortlessly because it's so enjoyable and scenic. If we don't want to cook, we order from the restaurant and walk over to get it when it's ready.
Off season we enjoy the quiet. We comb the beach and have great finds because there aren't so many people. There are still places open to have a nice dinner. It's most relaxing.
