One block over, on the bay road, is the Viking Village where you'll find quaint little shops,selling everything from jewelry to fishing gear and casual wear. There is a take out seafood resturant, a coffee shop and a small produce market.
Barnegat Light is a family oriented community with plenty of leisurely activities. Barnegat Light features some of the nicest beaches on the coast. Spend a leisurely day on the beach relaxing and swimming or enjoy a bike ride up to the Barnegat Lighthouse. Visit Andi's, pick up some souvenirs or just gaze out across the bay at the boats as they come and go from the inlet.
Or maybe rent a small boat down the bay road from Van's or Robbie's for a day of crabbing or fishing.
Off-season you can't find a more serene, relaxing atmosphere.

Why the Owner Chose Barnegat Light
This property was purchased and the house built in 1959 by my parents. My father's family always went down to LBI for fishing and vacationing.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Barnegat Light is quieter than some of the other communities on LBI. We so enjoy our days at the beach just relaxing, reading and swimming. It's so nice afterwards to come home and chill out on the sundeck with a cold beverage before dinner.
If we don't feel like cooking, we order from the take-out restaurant on the next block.

This will be my third summer renting this apartment and I couldn't be more delighted! The kitchen is well equipped, the furniture comfortable, the neighborhood quiet, yet accessible to the beach and Viking Village, lighthouse, etc. The owners are delightful and very attentive to the needs of the renters. Love this place!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.
