Aloha and welcome to Eddie’s Hula Hut! Don’t let the name fool you. Our spacious condo is fully furnished for your vacationing pleasure. You will quickly get yourself into vacation mode in our newly decorated condo which has a casual retro-Hawaiian flare to help your mainland worries simply melt away. Our very friendly on-site manager (couple of doors away) is available to answer any questions you might have. So, no worries, just relax and take in all the beauty and activities our favorite Hawaiian Island has to offer and all of the comfort and amenities our “hula hut” has to offer you and your family and/or friends to ensure a memorable stay. You won’t want to leave!
2,000 square feet 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom luxury Nihilani condo (on the quiet side) to enjoy with friends & family.
The large zen-like master suite has its own sitting (napping) room and private lanai, double vanity sinks & soaking tub and shower. It’s fully equipped with free high speed internet & a printer for your lap top (if you “think” you’ll want to do some work). Oh, let’s not forget the luxurious CalKing sized bed, flat screen TV and ceiling fan. Let the gentle island breezes flow in and watch the hypnotic palm tree right outside the window.
The “surfer” room has top of the line queen sized mattresses for comfort, walk-in closet and ceiling fan. The “Buddha” room, which shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the “surfer” room, also has top of the line queen sized mattresses for your comfort and a soothing ceiling fan, if you should need it. Enjoy your own covered lanai for a morning coffee, afternoon siesta or evening cocktail.

Our “Hula Hut” is conveniently located near the BEAUTIFUL Nihilani pool, hot tub and BBQ’s. Enjoy poolside dinners or a nice hot tub after a long hike, day at the beach, or round of golf at one of the nearby, world-class courses.
Less than a mile away from, not one, but two four-star hotels (the St. Regis Princeville Resort and the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort for pu-pus, lunch, dinner or mai-tais.
If you’re a golfer, you have found nirvana. The Makai course, literally across the street, is soon to become a PGA level course, and the Princeville course, always rated as one of the top courses in Hawaii, is 5 minutes away. Even if you don’t golf, you can rent a cart at twilight and take in the spectacular scenery (our kids loved this!).
For a massage, gym, or golf, The Princeville Clubhouse and SPA is barely a 5 minute drive.
Surf, swim, snorkel, scuba, whale watch, hike, go horseback riding, walk, kayak, paddle board, zip-line, yoga, shop or dine. The activities are endless.
Short drive to magnificent Hanalei Bay. Swim, sunbathe or take a surf lesson at this wonderful beach.

Brian and Doreen Donnelly live in the Bay Area. We have 3 children and we have been going to Kauai for the last 15 years. We fell in love with the North Shore the first time we went there and we are thrilled to have just purchased our wonderful Nihilani condominium. Wonderful Christmas Holiday at Eddie's Hula Hut

We had a fantastic stay in Eddie's Hula Hut over Christmas, 2011. The home had everything we needed, and more. We met our 2 grown kids there, and we all loved the place. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to make some great dinners. The fresh fish from Hanalei Fish Market was delicious, perfect with the Kona Brewing Wailua Wheat beer with Passion Fruit. So good. The beach toys and accessories were everything we needed to spend a great day at one of the beautiful beaches. Tunnels was our favorite. My husband and son tried surfing on one of the boards. We also had fun playing some of the games that were in the home. I didn't know that Apples to Apples could be so much fun! Lots of laughs with that one. And watching the sunset at Ke'e beach over the Na Pali coast was spectacular. And seeing all of the beached monk seals was very cool, too. The home is beautifully decorated with a Hawaiian decor, and was very clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. We made a lot of really wonderful memories during our stay at Eddie's Hula Hut. I highly recommend it.

I think Eddie's can be summed up in the words of our 4 year old, "Can we stay for 15 days next time?" What an experience our family had. Eddie's is fantastic. From the minute the garage door opens you know that you are somewhere special. We immediately felt like we were at home. Each room from the kitchen to the three+ bedrooms are appointed fantastically. You don't want for anything, even sand toys, blow up floaties and video games. Located across from the pool, BBQ's and fun are literally 100 steps away. If the beach is more to your liking, we hit a different beach every day, and all were short drives away. Eddie's is centrally located, and near golf (we did not golf), high end cocktails (St. Regis), a great market (amazing fresh organic produce and fish) and the local experience of Hanalei. The beach cruisers (I mentioned Eddie's has everything) are perfect for an afternoon ride to the cliff's for the sunset. We enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to go back. Eddie's Hula Hut will now be an annual experience for our family.

Eddie's Hula Hut truly was Nirvana for my family of 4. It is a posh, modern, fully-equipped home environment to serve as headquarters for any family or group looking to explore and enjoy the fruits of Kauai. Brand new appliances, TVs, DVDs, even a PS-2 for the kids. Boogie board and surf boards were on hand and available. This condo has some kind of island Feng-Shui about it, we felt the stress ebbing from our bodies immediately after we walked in (or at least halfway through the first round of MaiTais). The floor plan and family areas were terrific, and the decorations were wonderful. Whoever decorated this place must have a degree in the subject. Plus, all the necessary local information and opportunities was conveniently organized for us upon arrival. So, we were all very happy before we even left the home. Tempted not to leave, we summoned the energy to venture out, and we found we were in a perfect location. Dad could walk to the golf course, while Mom took the kids horseback riding. (Dad either loves golf, is scared of horses, or both). Beautiful trails abounded. Hanalei Bay beckoned and was our daily headquarters for a week (but do NOT miss a hike down to Hideaway Beach of you stay in this condo). A beautiful pool and hot tub is located just across the street from the condo -- a great place to enjoy a beer after a day in the sun, as you ponder which island marinade to use on your nightly BBQ of Ahi, MahiMahi or any of the incredible local fish available at the island Costco or Safeway in Kapaa. Finally, while Princeville is basically the "end of the road" as far as the road on Kauai is concerned, note that the island is small and that there is no problem to see all of the islands attractions while spending a week with this as your headquarters. Check this place out.

My family and I looooved our stay at Eddie's Hula Hut!!!! The condo is beautiful, very spacious, we had fun cooking family meals in the well appointed spacious kitchen and the dining table was perfect for our family of 6. The Jack and Jill bathrooms are adorable and we found the owners Doreen and Brian extremely sweet, very responsive and fabulous to rent from! We actually had other accomodations when we arrived in Kauai, but we're oh so glad we found this one! The rental manager lived just a couple condos away and she was such a doll - made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The condo was so clean, convenient, and we highly recommend the supermarket closeby. Kinda like Whole Foods but much more unique nad "boutiquey" - fresh cheeses, breads, and produce. We'll definitely be back!
