Our Tropical Beach Bungalow is located across from a 5 mile long beach in North Kihei...the quiet side of Kihei! Our bungalow has just been updated and remodeled and is waiting for you to enjoy the great sunsets! It has all the amenities necessary to make your stay comfortable and the view from the dining table is an outstanding ocean view of Maalea Bay, the island of Lanai, the West Maui Mountains and Sugar Beach.
During the whale season (Oct. thru April), you can just sit in your living room and watch them play. We are centrally located to all of Maui's beauty, activities and shopping centers are close by. Come and say with us and enjoy a relaxing time sunbathing, watching the boats come and go......on some weekends, watch the canoe club practice paddeling or putting on a race with rival canoe clubs, watching the sunsets or playing bocci ball, frisbee or any other yard games, all on the large front lawn.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Our property is my family's homestead, bought in 1942 when Kihei was still young and there were hardly anyone living there! My dad was the Post Master and also ran the sugar plantation owned A & B (Alexander and Baldwin) Kihei Store. In 2004 my husband and I bought out my siblings for the property, to keep it in the family.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The view of the ocean, Maalea Bay, Sugar Beach and the West Maui Mountains from anywhere on the property is just fantastic! The sunsets are to die for! Nothing obstructs your view! You can lay around the front yard either under the Samoan coconut trees or just lay out in the sun on lounge or beach chairs while sipping a tall cool drink.
