A private, secluded one bedroom cabin in a serene wooded setting, yet only a four minute walk to the neighborhood park on beautiful, clear Lake Travis. The cabin has four rooms, including a bedroom with queen and bunk beds, featuring large windows overlooking a lovely, wooded hollow. Please note that there is no lake view from the cabin, but everyone loves the peaceful tree-house like setting.
The living room includes a dining table as well as chairs and sofa to relax in while enjoying a video or simply the restful silence. The kitchen is well furnished with a gas range and oven, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The new washer and dryer make longer stays more convenient and enjoyable. The full length covered porch with two sofas and gas grill provides a relaxing way to enjoy your private wooded hollow with it's many song birds. To reach the cabin, you'll have a short 20 mile drive northwest of Austin through scenic hill country. Owners are nearby to answer questions or resolve any problems.
Swimming, fishing, or boating from the neighborhood park is just a four minute walk from the cabin. The park has a wonderful 180 degree view of the lake with picnic tables, benches, a concrete boat ramp and a day dock. Great for skiers, fisherman, sailors, and the adventuresome. Golfers also have their choice of many area courses, including Willie Nelson's nearby course. For nightlife, Austin's famous Backyard music venue is only 20 minutes away, while 6th Street is just 15 minutes further in town.

Capacity - No more than 2 adults, and no more than 3 children allowed. Any guests must leave by 9 PM. We like the peace and quiet, and we want guests who like to keep it that way!

High Season-> June - September: $90/night weekdays, $120/Saturday
Low Season-> October - May: $60/night, $90/Saturday
Plus a $70 per rental cleaning fee, 1 night OK, but 3 nights min on major holidays
50% deposit needed to hold reservation, 80% refundable prior to two weeks before
High Season Example - 2 day weekend is $90 + $120 + $70 cleaning fee = $280
Plus 6% state hotel tax

I know we all left a comment already. BUT, here it is Friday, and I am looking out the window thinking. . . I miss the cabin and quiet peace it gave us. I feel "homesick" for our little piece of heaven on earth. Our 3 girls loved it and our 3 year old thinks we bought the cabin and it is our other home "where the deer our mommy!" Can't wait to come back and enjoy simplicity again. Tracy

Wife and I stayed five nights beginning 03/14/10 and loved our stay. A very quiet,peaceful, and comfortable cabin that's perfect for day trips to local parks, rivers, shops and local night life. Found some great driftwood at Lake Travis park about a 3-4 min. walk from the cabin.

Loved the place. Great way to get away from the workaday. Bandit visited us a few times, great dog, nice neighborhood. Really cozy spot. Spent a lot of time at the water. Will definitely be back soon!

This was a three-day getaway to paradise! Sitting on the front porch made me feel like I was in the mountains, and yet steps away we had easy access to the lake. The cabin is beautiful,comfortable, and cozy with great amenities and the kids loved all the DVD's. SUPER!!

My husband and I planned this weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful time and just loved the cottage and all it's surroundings. The hill country and Lake Travis are so beautiful. We found the cottage to have just about everything we could need for a simple and relaxing getaway. If you want to use the washer and dryer, make sure to bring your own detergent. p.s. The owners are very friendly! =)
