Come & discover CASA WASABI! This home is brand new construction located in Langosta Beach. The main home has 3 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms. Main living area and master bedroom open out to an exquisite tiled patio and beautiful private pool. Property is gated and walled for your privacy. The back of the property opens to a nature preserve so no development except by the monkeys and birds. Amenities include wall-mounted flat-screen 42 inch LCD television (32" in Master Bedroom), cable with some HD channels (HBO and Cinemax), dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, ductless A/C units in each room, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops.
Home is approximately 50 minute drive from Liberia International Airport (LIR). Transportation and airport transfers can be arranged for approx $18 USD per person. Housekeeping/Babysitting can be arranged during your stay for a small upcharge. Playa Langosta, which has breathtaking sunsets, shelling, and advanced surf, is a short walk from back door of home (approx 2 blocks); Playa Tamarindo, which offers beginning surf conditions is also within walking distance (about 10 minute walk) or very short drive away. Many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and convenient shopping. Recreational activities include surfing, sport fishing, canopy tours, wildlife watching, Spanish schools, surf schools, etc. Please inquire for additional photos and information. We can also help arrange tours and excursions with pick up direct from our door.
If you are hoping to accommodate a larger party for retreats, family reunions, business meetings, wedding parties, bachelor(ette) parties, etc. (up to 12 people), there are 2 private studio apartments on the upper level of the home along with a small casita poolside. Please inquire for rates and additional information (During certain time periods, these other units may be rented separately and common grounds/pool are shared).

Our property feels like our "home away from home". We love just being together as a family in the home. Fun in the sun at the beach and large, home-cooked meals at home in the evening. In Costa Rica, we feel a step closer to nature and love the cultural experience we can offer our children there.

Our very first visit to Costa Rica was in the year 2000. This is where my husband and I say we "fell in love". Not only did we fall in love with each other, but we also fell in love with the country. Throughout our exploration of the country, we finally decided that we truly enjoyed the Tamarindo and Playa Langosta area due to the incredible combination of sport fishing, surfing, beautiful beaches and sunsets, restaurants and many of the conveniences we are accustomed to in the USA. We have watched Tamarindo and Playa Langosta thrive and develop over the past few years, and continue to love the area. My husband's brother (William) is currently living in Playa Langosta and managing our vacation rentals. He is wonderful at welcoming our guests and handling any situations that arise. As I had never been to Costa Rica, I wasn't sure what to expect upon my arrival in Tamarindo. The experience at Casa Wasabi exceeded every expectation and made this trip my ideal vacation destination, one I plan to come back to again. Casa Wasabi is truly a home away from home- except even nicer. Each room is beautifully decorated with an authentic and rich feel including the in door/ out door bathroom & showers, gourmet kitchen, spacious bedrooms and large living spaces with high ceilings . It is clear the owners have not only made decor a priority but they have also invested in their guest's safety with high walls surrounding the property discreetly covered by a gorgeous landscape. Just steps away from the ocean, a short walk to the center of town and a private pool on the living grounds, your home becomes your personal resort, ideal for any occasion. This is everything I could have wanted and more. I look forward to my next stay at Casa Wasabi.

This is exactly what I needed, a break from reality and Casa Wasabi delivered. Set in the beautiful exotic landscape of Tamarindo this beautiful retreat helped me escape it all. It's hard to think of life outside the walls of such an enchanting, accommodating and relaxing retreat. Casa Wasabi gave me all the luxuries I could want without loosing the rustic charm of Costa Rica. My personal favorite was the indoor/outdoor shower. My shower was indoors but opened to the outside air connecting you with nature. It's amazing! After long morning run's on the Tamarindo beach, it was a nice to relax and cool off by the pool while enjoying delicious Costa Rican coffee. The location of Casa Wasabi was ideal. Stepping out the back door, it was literally a short walk to Langosta Beach, which offered great sight seeing opportunities of surfer's catching the next big wave. Not to mention, the Ong family was very friendly, quick to respond, and wonderful to work with. They were so accommodating to what my needs were. There was a car available for easy travel and a crew ready to take me out for a day of fishing. Next time, I'm going to take them up on the maid and cook services which are available. Thank you Casa Wasabi and the Ong family, for making my stay in Costa Rica a memorable one! This is now my new annual retreat!

Luxurious, exotic, easy, kid-friendly, grown-up paradise - a few words to describe my vacation spent at Casa Wasabi in Playa Langosta, Costa Rica. Steps to the ocean, feet to the pool, shower under the moon... I highly recommend this spacious property for its breezy, high-end feel, Tican charm, beautiful furnishings, gourmet kitchen, private, comfortable rooms with unique baths, tropical pool and waterfall, and last but not least, a three-minute walk to the sands, shells and sunsets of Playa Langosta, one of the most picturesque beaches I found in Costa Rica. A market and coffee shop are within one block of the house. Wildlife galore shares the quiet neighborhood. Want the action of shopping, restaurants and nightlife? Easy access to Tamarindo. Want your very own oasis for relaxation and family fun? Choose Casa Wasabi.
