Our home is located in beautiful Gold Canyon AZ, at the base of Dinosaur Mountain with views of the Superstition Mountains. The home sits on the 5th fairway of Sidewinder Golf Course. Enjoy views of both the golf course and the mountains from the deck and patios.

The home is in a beautifully landscaped, quiet, gated community approximately 45 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, and approximately 20 minutes from Mesa Gateway Airport. While you will be away from the busy cities and traffic, you are only 5 minutes from local shopping, 15 minutes from major retail stores, and 20 minutes from the nearest shopping mall. Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale and many other communities are within a short driving distance so it is convenient to enjoy all they have to offer. Tucson and Sedona are close enough to make a nice day visit.
Our home has 2 master bedrooms both with king beds, full private baths, televisions, and walk in closets. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, 2 fully furnished living areas, extra 1/2 bath, laundry room, 2 car garage, two patios facing the golf course, and a large 16' x 16' deck with wonderful views of the mountains. Total interior square footage is 2,140. We also have available a set of women's and men's right handed golf clubs for your use. WE HAVE EXPANDED OUR LOWER PATIO FACING THE GOLF COURSE!
We recently purchased this almost new home, and completely painted and furnished it. New tile flooring was installed on the lower level and in the two master bathrooms.
While you stay, enjoy the heated community pool and spa, community clubhouse, and fitness room. All amenities are located within a short walking distance of the home. Enjoy the many local golf courses, hiking and biking trails.
There is so much to do while visiting the area! Choose from more than 275 golf courses ranging from traditional to desert settings; hiking; museums and art galleries; zoos and botanical gardens; scenic drives; 4 wheeling and off highway vehicle trails; rodeos; shopping; professional sports including the Cactus League Spring Training, Diamondbacks, Suns, Mercury, Coyotes, and Cardinals; old west attractions including Old Tucson Studios; many local, state and national parks; area casinos; live greyhound racing in Tucson; scenic boat tours on Saguaro and Canyon Lakes; salt water river rafting trips; and many interesting cities and points of interest to plan day trips. In the home you will find a book outlining 52 day trips you can take while visiting the area. We also have available the most recent AZ tourist information from the local Visitor's Center. We hope these will help you with planning during your stay.

What a great rental! I have come to Az every April for a dozen years and this has been the best property I have rented in those years. My wife and my brothers family loved it. Great views from all sides. The property was very clean and quiet. We had a candle lit supper on the upper deck area, the moon and stars were very bright, if there were other people in the area, we couldn't hear them. Great golf at Gold Canyon and the pool/hot tub/rec ctr were also great. The owners were wonderful to work with, and we really appreciated the gift basket upon arrival. We are looking forward to next year!

My husband and I rented this well appointed home in December of 2010. We have rented several other homes in the area and found this one to be the best by far. The owners have taken special care to offer all the comforts of home. We did not want to leave! The area of Gold Canyon has much to offer and is also a great place to come for rest and relaxation. We are looking forward to our next visit and hope to be fortunate enough to rent this home again.

We felt priviledged to stay at this beautiful, well-appointed town home during the first week of November 2010. It lived up to the desciption and photo's in every detail. The house is part of the gated Tesoro community, with its front facing east, across the 5th hole of Sidewinder Golf Course. The porch downstairs and the lanai upstairs catch the morning sun and the large deck above the garage is on the very quiet street side, providing wonderful views of Dinosaur Mtn. and Superstition Mtn. Thus, you have your choice of sun or shade throughout the day. The community pool with jacuzzi and clubhouse are very well kept, quiet, and just a 5 min. walk away. Stores for your daily needs are 5-10 min. away, and shopping centers/malls are just 15-20 minutes in Apache Junction and East Mesa. The scenery around Gold Canyon is breathtaking, with plenty of outdoor opportunities and with beautiful parks and monuments within easy traveling distance. Local restaurants are varied and quite good (Kokopelli's with a wonderful terrace to watch the sun go down, Delacruz with a cozy patio for Mexican food, Red Sage with an extensive menu). All in all, and blessed by gorgeous weather, we had an excellent stay also thanks to Kathy Behrens, who proved to be a very helpful and understanding host. We would love to come back.

My husband and I enjoyed this townhome and location tremendously. It is very comfortably furnished with everything we needed for ourselves and family guests. The two levels enabled us to enjoy views of the golf course as well as Dinosaur Mountain and the gorgeous Superstitions. Outdoor lighting is regulated in this community, so the nighttime sky is breathtaking. Gold Canyon is a rural-type area--chances of seeing quail, rabbits, coyotes, and javelinas are nearly guaranteed, but good restaurants and grocery shopping are close by. Major retailers are less than a 15 minute drive away. There's so much to see and do in this area, we highly recommend Gold Canyon and this townhome for a great getaway.

Perfect,Perfect. This townhouse is the perfect getaway. It is clean, beautifully furnished, and on a quiet street in a gated community. Location is great; it is located at the base of Superstition Mtn. and Dinosaur Mtn. and sets on Hole #5 of Sidewinder Golf Course. You are a short distance to hiking trails (easy and difficult), and there are plenty of golf courses in the area. Although somewhat rural, major stores, restaurants, and shopping centers are only 9-15 miles away on Interstate. Nearby restaurants are good. The owner is very responsive and wants to make your stay enjoyable. There's plenty to do. Make sure to make it to Superstition Mountain Museum, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Canyon Lake, Tortilla Flats, and Roosevelt Dam.

My husband & I stayed at the property for 9 days & absolutely loved the home - it is gorgeous! We loved the 2 balconies & one patio as we could sit outside at anytime of the day in the sun or the shade by just moving to a different location-- the 2 golf courses are extraordinary, with beautiful scenery on every hole - we even saw deer on two different holes & small bunnies everywhere! We would definitely stay at this home again! What a great holiday!

My boyfriend and I had the privilege of staying in this beautiful house Labor Day weekend. The house is located in a quiet, gated community in Gold Canyon, AZ. It is a spacious property with enough room to fit 2 couples comfortably and the option of using an airbed in the second living area for extra guests. There are en-suite bathrooms in each of the master bedrooms, which provide ample privacy. The kitchen was equipped with all items needed (except food) to cook your own meals. One of the main reasons we picked this property is because we wanted to golf and just minutes up the road is the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. The resort is home to Sidewinder and Dinosaur golf courses. This particular property is located on Sidewinder Golf Course hole #5 which was very convenient. After a cool afternoon nap, we did a little shopping in some of the malls located about 15-20 minutes from the house. The third day of our vacation we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon, which is about a 4 to 4.5 hour drive Northwest of Gold Canyon. The ease of traveling around the state is amazing. On the last day we took advantage of the pool/hot tub and fitness room. This is located within walking distance of the house. The fitness room and pool are clean and inviting. There were many other things I would love to enjoy in the house (patio/deck and grilling), but time did not allow. The owners were easy to work with and left great instructions for the use of their property. We hope to visit again sometime soon and would recommend this rental to anyone.
