"Villa Del Mar Caribe," is our vacation villa on the North Coast of Honduras on Caribbean Sea!
Our villa is on one acre of private land with 83 ft. of beachfront in secluded and exclusive Mango Playa area. To the South you have beautiful mountain views and to the North the sea and views of the Cayos Cachinos. This is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.
Our vacation home is 1000ft with open kitchen living room and 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The villa is attractively furnished with all the comforts of home in an easy and inviting style.
Chairs, umbrellas, towels and coolers for the beach are in the house. There is also a 12 ft. round palm leaf covered palapa located on the beach for shade and inviting tropical feel.
The kitchen is fully equipped for fixing everything from a small snack to a gourmet meal. Get your fresh produce at numerous markets in La Ceiba. Not up for cooking, walk down the beach to one of the following restaurants: Kabasa, Helen’s or Paradise Found.
Paradise Found is a bar and grill with extraordinary views and a gourmet chef. The ambience is great with locals and tourists alike on a regular basis. Kabasa is a Garifuna seafood restaurant serving local cuisine and Helen’s is a relaxed beach front hotel with a small restaurant open for public, along with their swimming pool.
In the town of La Ceiba you will find all the needs of modern living, but delivered with Caribbean charm. La Ceiba is only a 25 minute drive away.
Villa del Mar Caribe is our dream getaway and we hope it can be yours, too. Relax in this perfect setting with ocean and mountains embracing you.
Our recommendations visiting the area will be to take a tour to the Cayos Cachinos for snorkeling or diving, visit the hot springs and waterfalls minutes away, whitewater rafting on the Rio Congrejal, horseback riding in the Pico Bonito National Park or a myriad of other activities. Of course days on our beach reading under our beach palapa with a cold margarita are also favorite activites... However you like to spend your time our property and the local area will more than satisfy.
Our rental manager will meet you at villa with the keys (you will need to arrange for your own transportation by taxi or rental car). She will be happy to answer any questions to help ensure you have an enjoyable stay at our villa. We also provide you with a cell phone for local calls during your stay.

Beautiful Caribbean Beach Villa - One Acre Private Paradise
Why the Owner Chose Sambo Creek
We have always wanted a home in the tropics on the beach. After a lot of research and travel to different areas we settled on La Ceiba, Honduras.
We felt drawn to the North coast area of the mainland. We followed that calling and purchased this land in late 2007. We had this guest villa designed and built in 2008 by one of the premier architects in the area. It is a little jewel in paradise.
We love the natural beauty of Honduras, the instant access to Cayos Cachinos and Bay Islands where we find world class diving and turquoise waters with soft, sand beaches.
We also fell in love with the Pico Bonito National Park and its breathtaking Cangrejal River just 20 minutes away from our home.
We have also invested in 11 acres of riverfront property on the Rio Cangrejal. It has an orange grove and cacao trees with views of an amazing tall rushing waterfall.

Amazing volcanic hot springs just up the mountain and across the highway, this is a must do. They also offer a beautiful canopy tour of the jungle for the adventure minded.

Welcome to Villa Del Mar Caribe!
This is me and my husbands' Scott dream come true on Mango Beach. We have 1 acre of beach property on the beach with mountains and cloud forest to the south. Beautiful!!!
When we are not in our second home in Honduras we can be found on the Western Slope of Colorado where we live in high desert surroundings with flat top mesas and rocky monuments.
We are a short drive to the West of the Rocky Mountains and only a short drive to the Southern San Juan mountain range.
The mountains of Honduras make us feel like home and the Caribbean Sea at our doorstep makes this place a treasure indeed.

Just when you think it can't get any better, take a vacation at this villa. It has its own beach that you can swim or just lay around and watch the sun come up on the right and sink on the left. The rainforest is just behind the villa that is breath taking. If you are up for adventure, you can take a ride up the mountain and do the zip lines thru the rainforest, soak in the hot springs, and hopefully, eat boilded shrimp and drink wine in the hot springs like I did. If that is not enough, there is scuba diving and snorkling not far away. Just up the beach, there are nice and friendly people that will cook a great dinner and drinks for you to enjoy while sitting on the beach. I can not wait until I return back next year.

We stayed at this villa just a few weeks ago, and we've been missing it ever since. There's nothing like resting under the shade of your private palapa, heading out to the ocean to take a swim, and turning around and looking up at the rainforest covered mountains framing the whole place. And all with the amenities of home. Amazing hot springs and restaurants within a beach walk. Absolutely gorgeous!

This house was in a great location. It is on the beach, and has great scenery. The rainforest mountains are on one side and the ocean on the other. One week was not enough to enjoy the natural beauty of Honduras and its friendly people. Also, having the house equipped with all the essentials of home was a pleasure.

This little house is a wonderful retreat from daily life. We had all of the conveniences with none of the distractions. The house is very comfortable and the location is amazing. I will be back.
