Family of 4 enjoyed this very comfortable and well-located unit at Topnotch. Just steps from pools, spa, restaurant and hard tennis courts, this is a perfect location for enjoying all Topnotch has to offer! And despite proximity, this is a very private unit with great views of the mountains! Well appointed, comfortable beds, air-conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher.....there is nothing to complain about with this choice!

My family and I rented Barb's 2-bed unit, and could not have had a more wonderful stay. The unit feels much more spacious than what you see in the pictures. It's two levels, which was perfect for my daughter's naps. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need if you plan to make any food, and the pool is a minute away. There is also a great lawn outside the unit if you are bringing kids. I have rented other vrbo units and other topnotch resort homes, and Barb's is the best. She responds quickly to any questions, and is as accommodating as can be. We will definitely be back!!

Owner response:The unit's location is really ideal...no long walks or drives to the pool(s) or the spa and there is a nice back yard area to "play". I really do try to get back to everyone as quickly as possible and always want to hear back from my guests if there is something that I could add to the unit that would make their stay more comfortable.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful long weekend at Barb's condo. The location at Topnotch resort is great - it is close to both pools and the spa. The house had plenty of space for our family of 4 and could have easily accomodated more. With 2 small children, having a dining room, kitchen and washer/dryer was unbelievably convenient. The townhouse is two levels which was also great in putting the kids to bed upstairs and stilll being able to relax in the living room. The house was well furnished with towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, laundry and dish detergents. Topnotch has a great location too - in between town and Stowe Mountain Resort. The resort is across the street from the recreation path which we walked every morning. We also took a carriage ride from the barn across the street and enjoyed it very much. We would come back here again in a heartbeat!

Recommended for:Families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Barb's condo. The condo is clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Barb was also very helpful, friendly and accommodating (we were a late arrival). We have been going to Stowe for years and have stayed at various Topnotch condos but this one is hard to beat for it's location. It takes about 1 minute to walk to the spa/pool/restaurant and with 2 young children this was a huge bonus! Topnotch also has a lot to offer: beautiful pools, great tennis, nice spa, restaurants, close to the mountain and across the street from the rec path. We can't wait to return this winter!

Three friends and I stayed at Barb's condo for a girls weekend. We were looking to relax, and enjoy some treatments at the spa. It was perfect. The outdoor pool and spa were next door. We sat in an outdoor heated pool in April looking at snow covered mountains! It was great. The condo itself was comfortable - including a nice living room with a fire place to hang out and talk - with sliders overlooking the mountains. We had a great time!

We had a great time over Christmas week at Barb's Top Notch home. The unit is perfect for families with young children and the beds were so comfortable. The washer and dryer in the unit came in big handy after a wet day of skiing. The unit is right next door to the Top Notch pool and hot tub and spa which was great for the kids. Barb was wonderful to work with and even had a bottle of Vermont maple syrup for us on the table when we arrived. I would highly recommend the unit to families or couples.

Excellent Condo and Location - Superb Spa Right Next Door

We stayed at this condo over the Christmas weekend 2010 for a ski vacation. The condo was excellent - very clean and well appointed with large cozy rooms. Barb was extremely helpful and flexible with the last minute arrangements and quickly responded to a barrage of questions we had since this was our first time in the Stowe area. Barb provided discounted lift tickets which was an added benefit. The Topnotch spa was superb!!! It is literally a 60 second walk from the condo and has indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools. It made our stay that much more enjoyable. We would HIGHLY recommend this property.

We stayed at Barb and Michael's condo on the first weekend of October Sep 30-Oct 3. Barb was extremely helpful answering all of our questions, and giving us lots of good tips on what to do in the Stowe area, as we had not been there before. Although we had a bit of a rainy start to our stay, this was no issue as we were able to enjoy the spa, indoors and outdoors - a truly fantastic and relaxing experience. By Saturday afternoon it finally cleared, and we had a chance to enjoy the foliage, and visit the rest of the sites and attraction of the area. We will definitely come back if we get a chance. :-)

Perfect Stowe Condo with the perfect location to the Topnotch Spa

Barbara - thank you for sharing your Topnotch condo with us. The space was perfect for our vacation. We especially loved the morning, afternoon and evening shuffle to the spa - I don't think we could have stayed any closer to the outdoor hot tub, unless we slept on one of the deck chairs. We enjoyed biking down the hill (and back, too) to jump on the Stowe Rec path and a short drive up to the Notch for great hiking. Thank you. Alison & Chris

Great Family vacation

We enjoyed the resort property and all of the fantastic amenities. Our children did the tennis camp and had a great time while mom and dad walked, biked, and relaxed. The pool facility is really lovely. The condo itself was all you need to enjoy a vacation at Stowe. Very comfy beds! Pretty view out the windows of the condo as well. Being next store to the pool was a big plus. Vernont is a great state and staying in this condo was a great place to call home and explore from.

A Townhome For All Seasons

We chose Barb’s Top Notch townhome for our young family’s first trip to Stowe and were thrilled with the resort and this comfortable, well equipped unit. Just a few steps from the spa and pool, but yet very private. The resort is close to all the best Stowe has to offer. Barb couldn’t have been more accommodating and she gladly shared tips about the area that only a local could provide. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this unit to friends and family looking to explore Stowe any time of year.

We stayed at this condo for a girls getaway weekend and it was fabulous! The condo was clean and spacious and the resort facilities were excellent. The spa, pool and hot tub are a must and couldn't be any closer. We took advantage of the hiking and walking trails in Stowe which had great views and are well worth the time The staff at Topnotch was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending activities, restaruants, and hiking trails. All around a great condo & resort and we will definitely be returning!

We stayed at this unit in early October during the peak of the Fall foliage season. The unit was clean and worked great for us (a great set-up for two couples). The wood burning fireplace was very cozy, and the facilities at top-notch are outstanding. Great work-out room, pools, and jacuzzi's. Stowe is a beautiful town. The location of top-notch was great if you are looking to be within a 5 minute drive of the heart of downtown Stowe, yet be out far enough to feel a sense of peace and quiet. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend top-notch.

This was our first visit to Vermont and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Barb and Mike were extremely hospitable and even made arrangements to get a crib for our 6-month-old. I would highly recommend this condo, and we intend to come back again!

We loved our stay here. Large 2bedroom 2 bath unit with a large family room with cozy fireplace. Ideally located next to the new spa and the swimming pool. Barb, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and checked back with us to make sure everything was to our liking. Rode the bike trail across the street to downtown Stowe. We will be back to this lovely unit.

We enjoyed our stay here, especially the pool and Jacuzzi which were indeed … topnotch. Condo was clean and in good condition, we loved the new bed sheets. Barb, the owner, wad extremely friendly and helpful. We hiked Mansfield (Sunset Ridge and Long trails) and Camel’s Hump (Monroe trail), where we took wonderful pictures.

This place was definitely one of my favorite getaway place!! The owners were extremely friendly and the house was clean and most of all COZY! I felt right at home. Also the pool size jacuzzi right next door was AMAZING! Don't miss the fire place with the pre-chopped woods too. My friends and I had a blast here. I never knew Stowe, VT was such an awesome place even during the summer! If you visit, you must try the kayak fishing. We even caught a huge catfish =D Thank you Barb & Mike for letting us have such a great time. We will definitely be visiting again.
