Location: Paris Arrondissement 16, Paris, Ile-de-France (Paris Area), France, Europe
Accommodations: Studio, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)
This airy studio is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, a block from the Bois de Boulogne in one direction and the avenue Mozart in the other. It is a short métro ride (station Jasmin, ligne 9) to the center of Paris, and is within easy walking distance of the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower, as well as small museums such as the Musée Marmottan (with its Monet water lilies), the Fondation le Corbusier, and the Maison de Balzac.
The studio is 30 square meters (300 square feet) large, and is located in a secure 1930s art deco building. It has views over a courtyard lined with plane trees and the neighboring Villa Montmorency, with a glimpse of the top of the Eiffel Tower from the kitchen window. It is protected from the noise of the street and receives full afternoon sun. Fully renovated in 2006, it retains the original character of the 1930s architecture, with high ceilings, classic molding, and refinished wood floors. A series of modern built-in cabinets hides two twin beds on one wall, and an office area on another, allowing for a spacious feeling by day. Kitchen contains a combination stove-oven-dishwasher, a fridge, and a microwave. Studio is fully equipped with Powerbook computer, high speed internet access, cable TV, telephone, and all appliances, linens, and kitchen necessities.

The Unique Benefits of this Studio
We stay at the studio when returning to Paris for professional reasons, and to visit Jean-Claude's family. It is in a perfect spot for a pied-à-terre ... removed from the noise and bustle of the city, while surrounded with neighborhood stores, great restaurants and lovely parks.
