We have a two bedroom, second floor apartment with a private entrance and a deck. Crescent Beach is directly across the street and just a short walk down a boardwalk. We have the beach chairs. We usually have volleyball/badminton set up for the summer. Other yard games and toys are available. There is plenty of room for a tent in the back yard if you or your kids like to "rough-it". Full bath, full kitchen, and cable TV. Fully furnished, all linens, and soaps provided. All floors are hardwood or porcelain tile.
Wildlife spottings include Moose, deer, rabbit, Canada geese. Across the street is a four star hotel and restaurant and spa, Inn By the Sea. They opened in summer 2008 and it is gorgeous. Their website has the details of the new spa and their new chef. I have eaten there a number of times and lunch and dinner are very good. I haven't had breakfast there yet.
Direct access to the beach (Crescent Beach State Park) is available by following the boardwalk behind the hotel. Tennis courts are two miles away at the High School (always a court available). As you can see by the photos we have added a 12X24 pool. It is 4 feet deep. We have installed solar panels that are generating a portion of our electricity! It is a great feeling to be harnessing and using power from a natural source. When you are here, ask to see our meter running backwards!

Thoughtful amenities; all conveniences. Immaculate, comfortable, quiet. Hosts friendly, but considerate of privacy. Near all on picturesque, pastoral Cape Elizabeth while close to artsy Portland and Casco Bay. We had a fabulous week-long vacation with this property as our "home" base. Far exceeded our expectations.You couldn't ask for more in Southern Maine.Enjoy!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
