  This is a lovely home in an Ideal location, with sunrise and sunset views. We spent a week here with our adult children and new grandson (3 1/2 months old), and it was the perfect location for our family to get to know this new little guy. This spacious house offers room for privacy and group gatherings. It has a well-equipped upscale kitchen - that was a joy to work in. As you walk into the great room you'll experience panoramic views that are amazing! We would recommend this house to anyone who is seeking an intimate and beautiful setting in which to create memories that will last a life time. We have rented several vacation homes, and this has become a fast favorite - we'll be back!

  What a perfect home for a vacation ! We just enjoyed an ideal week of R and R at this fabulous home on the ocean. We are a group of 4 couples - aged 60 +. The home is so spacious, all parties had private spaces to retire to whenever they wished and wonderful areas to dine/lounge together. The living space on the top floor is unique and provides for expansive panoramic views of both ocean and marsh. The sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. The high end kitchen is ideal - provides space for all to participate in cooking and food prep while still enjoying the view ! We hope to return to this ideal setting in the future. Cannot imagine finding a more perfect home for a seaside group vacation. Fripp Island itself is a jewel. The owners and local management are very responsive and attentive to any need/detail as well. A 5 star recommendation from us !

  Our family stayed here for two weeks this fall. We had 7 young children between the families so the bunk bed room was perfect to use. Every room is welcoming! We loved having many master suites to choose from. The number of bathrooms and the amount of space in this home is amazing. The views were stunning of the sunrise and sunset each day! We loved our vacation there! We have been going to Fripp for 30+ years and are so glad to have found this home to stay at!

  My family and I have been coming to Fripp Island for 25 years. We've stayed in many houses over those years and this is, by far, one of my favorites. Seaside Getaways, along with Lyn, the owner of the home, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The home itself, is a beautiful place, with everything you need for a memorable vacation. The kitchen and living room - located on top floor - were perfect. But my personal favorites were the porches and decks. There is simply nothing like sitting on a porch at night, listening to the waves and feeling the ocean breeze. On this porch, you see the sunrise in the morning over the ocean and you can see the sunset in evening over the marshes. Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home! We will definitely be back.

  This is a beautiful home on a beautiful private island. The home is relatively new, beautifully furnished and appointed. The main living area, and one master suite, are on the top floor with an open floor plan and expansive views of the ocean, marshes, sunrise and sunset. Everything is the best quality - Viking appliances and granite in a cook's kitchen, spacious tiled with italian glass and granite master baths, heart of pine floors, beautiful windows, decks in front and back, and beautiful and comfortable furnishings throughout. There are 2 more master suites on the first floor planned around a family gathering room and kitchenette: all with decks and ocean views, and beach access. An open stairway and elevator provide continuity and access to all 3 floors. We've had 2 amazing, and relaxing, 2 week stays at this beautiful home. Sometimes it was just my husband and I - and the house was comfortable for just a couple as well as a large family and friends. The owner is gracious and checks to be sure everything is 'perfect', and Seaside Getaways provides any backup needed quickly and professionally. The house is pristine, clean, and well maintained. There are many amenities on this beautiful private island including the delicious food at the island restaurants. Golf, tennis, crabbing, fishing, shelling, biking are popular. You can travel around on this small island in a golf cart, and enjoy nature: dolphins, egrets and herons, osprey nests, small deer.

  My two daughters and their families and my husband and I spent two weeks in this lovely house on Fripp. The location on the island itself is perfect: away from the main golf cart traffic and right on the part of the ocean where beach is available most of the day. The house has lovely touches such as pine floors, granite and steel kitchen, and windows everywhere with stunning views of ocean, beach, and marsh. The covered porches, two, allow for those folks who do not want a lot of sun. All three master suites are attached to amazing bathrooms with luxury features. The seven total bathrooms make for easy accessibility for children and those visiting another floor. The elevator is wonderful when unloading groceries and bags. The company that helps during the stay, Seaside, is very responsive in case of any problems arising during the visit. Two garbage pick ups a week is fantastic, not allowing too much to accumulate during a stay. The house is well furnished, but does not have so much furniture that it crowds the house. The decor is tasteful but minimal, allowing guests to put their own things around. We had a heavenly stay and plan to go back next year.

  My family has vacationed at Fripp Island for over 25 years. As marriages and children added to our group, we outgrew every house we stayed in. We were lucky enough to find this house the first year it was available for rent, and having now spent three summers there - I hope we never have to leave it! It fits our four families perfectly, with plenty of bedrooms for adults and children, and we never have to get in line for the shower now - there are enough to go around. The seating areas are comfortable with up and down gathering areas if people want to spread out. And the kitchen has enough room for multiple cooks (or cleaning crews). The home is perfectly laid out, with beach views from most areas - my nephews said it was like looking out the window of a cruise ship since all you see from upstairs is the ocean stretching out in front of you - with lots of dolphins included this year! Between the views and the covered porches to sit outside and read out of the sun it is the perfect home for a beachfront stay. It is also on one of the few areas of the beach that doesn't require hiking through dunes to get to the water, which we prefer. We have also had excellent attention from both the owner and the realty company that manages the property with prompt responses to questions. I can not recommend Casa del Mar highly enough!

  Let me say first that I was lucky enough to speak directly with the owner while deciding to rent this lovely home, which is not typical when house hunting for a place to stay on vacation. She couldn't have been more patient and nice. The home was perfect for our event. We had an event at MCRD Parris Island two of the days we stayed, and the home was more than accommodating for 14 people. Loved the spacious kitchen and living room areas, which were attached. The main king suite with lovely wood floors was sort of attached to the kitchen, dining and living room areas. The other room was the smaller room with the queen bed; small room, but quaint. Absolutely loved the private walkout balconies and areas off of each of the king suites. The elevator came in quite handy since one of my family members was slightly disabled. It also came in handy for bringing up groceries. I cannot describe how awesome the view from the kitchen/living room area was. The windows are simply filled with ocean view! The decks leading down to the ocean made for easy access. When returning from the beach, it was nice to have the outdoor shower at the bottom of the steps. We also got to use the gas grill located in the open air garage under the house. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed Casa Del Mar. It was a nice change to renting a stuffy and small hotel room. I would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone :-)

  We can not say enough good things about our visit to Casa del Mar. The 10 of us came for our ladies bi-annual scrapbooking trip. We stay in a lot of different houses, and this was by far the best one. Some of the ladies said we never have to look for another house! The rooms were beautiful and very clean, the views were spectacular, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. As the weather was so beautiful, we spent most of our time on the beach, and very little scrapbooking!! We needed the maintainance person once, and he was there in just a few minutes. The owner and rental agent were so friendly and accomodating right from the first phone call. This was the best trip we have had in 10 years. Thank you Lyn and Greta!!

  We decided to do a quick get a way to Fripp Island to enjoy some quiet time on the island. Our trip was great. This house was fantastic. We only had 5 people staying this time, so we had plenty of room. But, overall, the house was in great shape and the location is awesome. Very quiet location.
