Let me say first that I was lucky enough to speak directly with the owner while deciding to rent this lovely home, which is not typical when house hunting for a place to stay on vacation. She couldn't have been more patient and nice. The home was perfect for our event. We had an event at MCRD Parris Island two of the days we stayed, and the home was more than accommodating for 14 people. Loved the spacious kitchen and living room areas, which were attached. The main king suite with lovely wood floors was sort of attached to the kitchen, dining and living room areas. The other room was the smaller room with the queen bed; small room, but quaint. Absolutely loved the private walkout balconies and areas off of each of the king suites. The elevator came in quite handy since one of my family members was slightly disabled. It also came in handy for bringing up groceries. I cannot describe how awesome the view from the kitchen/living room area was. The windows are simply filled with ocean view! The decks leading down to the ocean made for easy access. When returning from the beach, it was nice to have the outdoor shower at the bottom of the steps. We also got to use the gas grill located in the open air garage under the house. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed Casa Del Mar. It was a nice change to renting a stuffy and small hotel room. I would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone :-)

We can not say enough good things about our visit to Casa del Mar. The 10 of us came for our ladies bi-annual scrapbooking trip. We stay in a lot of different houses, and this was by far the best one. Some of the ladies said we never have to look for another house! The rooms were beautiful and very clean, the views were spectacular, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. As the weather was so beautiful, we spent most of our time on the beach, and very little scrapbooking!! We needed the maintainance person once, and he was there in just a few minutes. The owner and rental agent were so friendly and accomodating right from the first phone call. This was the best trip we have had in 10 years. Thank you Lyn and Greta!!

We decided to do a quick get a way to Fripp Island to enjoy some quiet time on the island. Our trip was great. This house was fantastic. We only had 5 people staying this time, so we had plenty of room. But, overall, the house was in great shape and the location is awesome. Very quiet location.

I can't think of all the wonderful words to describe this stunning home! The magnificence of this house cannot be captured in pictures but the pictures posted are a great start. This home had everything my family and I could think of in it and more. It was very spacious for my large family but even with all the space, there were wonderful details all over the house. The bathrooms were breath-taking!! And the kitchen on the upper level of the house had the perfect view of the ocean (especially during sunrise). It was also wonderful having a bathroom in every bedroom. The owner and realtor are wonderful people and they were very helpful with everything!

This house exceeded my expectations completely! When I arrived at the home I was floored at how clean, spacious and up-to-date EVERYTHING in the home appeared to be. I really fell in love with the bathrooms in the master suites (yes plural). I seriously felt like a princess to be able to live in a home with an elevator, jacuzzis, and multiple other upper class amenities. This was truly the get away my family needed and we enjoyed and appreciated EVERY minute of it. The home actually looks BETTER than the photos portray it! I would definitely LOVE to go back to the property for future family gatherings. We didn't want to leave!

We were at Fripp for Thanksgiving week 2011 and stayed at this home. We had a wonderful visit. The home is beautiful. The ocean views are absolutely incredible. You almost feel as though you are on a cruise ship the ocean is so close !! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms have gorgeous tiled showers and jacuzzi tubs as well !!! The owner was always available to answer any questions we had. We have vacationed at Fripp for over 8 years and have stayed at more than eight different homes on the island. This was one of the best we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be returning !!!

"Our perfect weekend!" Our stay at Casa Del Mar was delightful in every way! Our son was getting married near Beaufort, so we wanted a home that was comfortable for several of our family members - ranging from grandparents to grandchildren, and this home was perfect! Each floor has its own living space (including a small kitchen on the first floor), so it was ideal for a sleep and play area for the small children - allowing the grandparents to enjoy adult time on the second floor when they needed some quiet moments. The home was spacious, the bedrooms were so comfortable, the bathrooms in each bedroom were beautiful! We loved being right on the beach. The elevator was great for bringing in all the groceries & luggage! We appreciated the ease of communication with the homeowner and rental company. Check-in was very simple. Our stay was completely enjoyable. We would recommend this home to everyone, and would definitely rent this home again!

Case del Mar is absolutely of my favorite beach homes experienced in my 46 years! The views and the sunsets are breathtaking. This home is exceptionally appointed with modern convenience that exceeded expectations...from a gas fireplace to a wine refrig. to jacuzzi tubs! The home is immaculate, and the kitchen is well appointed and organized with any cooking utensil and appliance imaginable. This home is pristine and the location is quiet- near a cul de sac that has awesome sunsets. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the balconies and hearing the waves day and night. I highly recommend this beach home, and we plan to return. Oh - you will want a golf car...it's the best way to travel around Fripp to enjoy the scenery, including deer.

This is an exceptional beachfront home with spectacular ocean views. The 3rd level has an open floor plan with a gourmet kitchen, family room, dining room combined with a wall of windows overlooking the ocean. There are 3 master suites - one on the 3rd level, two on the 2nd level with a living room and kitchenette. The 3 master baths are spacious with walk-in tiled showers with glass doors, granite countertops, and whirlpool tubs. (more bedrooms and baths - see owner's description). There is an elevator to help with luggage and groceries. While the home looks inviting in the photographs, it exceeded our expectations. Sunrises over the ocean can be enjoyed on any of the three back decks, island sunsets are spectacular from the front porches. This relatively new home is pristine in condition, clean, and well maintained. The owner is gracious, and contacted us briefly to see if everything was going well. The home is beautifully appointed, and the time we spent there was magical.

My family of 6 adults and 3 children, two generations, stayed for two weeks summer of 2011 at this property. The house was a dream come true for several reasons: The kitchen was beautifully equipped with the most modern appliances, cooking tools, and space. The washer/dryer and diswasher were virually silent, but very efficient. The three master bathrooms allowed each couple to enjoy luxury and space. The extra half baths on each floor meant one did not have to go from floor to floor for bathrooms, nor invade someone's bedroom. The views of ocean and marsh were surrounding us from every room. The porches protected us from the sun, yet allowed full breezes and ocean sounds. The elevator was a spectacular plus when groceries came home and loading and unloading were taking place. The house was tastefully and minimally decorated, allowing for room to spread out one's personal items. The AC's worked very well at 72, keeping all floors cool and comfortable. The three master bedrooms had access to porches. The three families comprising our party each had privacy to do and to enjoy the beach as a family; but togetherness was also great when desired. the arrangement of the house allows for privacy and togetherness. The house was well insulated, cutting down on noise from family to family. The owner of the house was very available, checking on things periodically to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. The three refrigerators (one small) gave ample room for everyone to store plenty of food, cutting down on trips to the store. The beach at the foot of the steps out front is flat and sandy and beautiful and wide, allowing for jogging and biking. Shells are abundant. The end of the island is close, allowing for tidal pools at low tide where young children can play. I cannot say enough good things about this house. Everyone in my party commented on the joy of staying in this house. I recommend it wholeheartedly and without reservation.

This is a beautiful home, well maintained and perfect beach placement. We have come to Fripp for 30 years, and as our family grew needed a large house where we could spread out. The house layout, large kitchen, and many bathrooms is perfect for our extended family beach trip. Everyone comments on how comfortable they are, and the added benefit of being in the perfect spot on the beach makes this our favorite place to stay at Fripp. The realty company is always available for questions or to help with issues that come up over our stay (thankfully few and far between!).

Our entire family (four families and a single) enjoyed our first trip to Fripp Island in this magnificent house. Almost everything you could want or need was included. Great view of the ocean from three bedrooms as well as the living area. Enjoy the sun rise from the back porch and the sunset from the front loft. It was delightful. We are big cookers and the kitchen was well equipped to keep us happy. If there had been a larger ice maker i would have given it six stars!!

We loved staying right on the ocean at Fripp and enjoyes watching the tide as it changed each day. The property was as we expected from the photos. We especially appreciated the 3 master suites. The ammenity cards for use of Fripp facilites are a pain and we would have appreciated having that included in the rental of the home. Johnson Creek is always a favorite dinner spot for us and we love shopping at What's in Store in Frogmore. We would recommend this property to a friend and wish we were still there!

We traveled to Fripp and stayed at this home for a family members wedding. The house is amazing....spacious with incredible ocean views. The 3 master suites are sprawling with king beds, huge bathrooms and walk in closets. The bunk room for kids would easily sleep 6. This home would be perfect for 3 couples with children. This was our first vacation on Fripp Island. If we return which I think we will....this will be the first house that I will check on for availability. We can't wait to go back! If you are thinking about booking this house, go for it. You won't be disappointed! In one word...Breathtaking!!

Our experience with this property exceded our highest expectations! The listing accurately describes the house as ocenfront and at high tide the view from the main living level is especially impressive. The photos on the website are great, but don't capture the magnificience of this property and the view. The open-concept allows a view from every room. Watch sunrise from the back verandas and sunset from the front. The home is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The owner was gracious to answer all questions and even provided tips for dining out . The owners have meticulously planned for your every need for food preparation and relaxation. The elevator was a real asset to our stay. We loved using the gas fireplace to take the chill off in the evening. This is truly a "home-away-from-home" experience! Watch for dolphins from the ocean-front verandas. We loved dining our at Boondocks 35 cent shrimp night on Wednesdays and don't miss dining at Dockside in Port Royal. Its a working fishery and all is fresh and tasty. Go there for a fabulous sunset experience! Don't forget to stop at the Gay Fish Co. on your way home for some fresh seafood for the road. They filmed "Forest Gump" using their dock and equipment!

I stayed at this house over New Year's with friends and absolutely loved it! I honestly cannot say enough about it. It is a new, spacious, beautiful, and clean house but very comfy at the same time. As a matter of fact, I did not leave the house but once briefly for 5 days which is definitely not a characteristic of mine! The ocean view could not be better (exquisite views all around the house-front and back)! While cooking in the generously stocked gourmet kitchen, I could see the ocean as well as the activities and TV in the great room. The kitchen also featured the best appliances (Viking) and other additions. It was a delight to prepare a meal! The bedrooms are spacious and pretty with great views and large TV's and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are all spa-like and an experience in itself. The deer were a benefit for me as well as I love to view the wildlife! Fripp is beautiful and this house is perfect...the owners thought of each and every detail! I will definitely be renting this house again!

My family and I stayed here during the Christmas holidays for a week. We all agreed that this house was absolutely perfect for our needs and would not have changed anything. The house has that "luxury" feel to it, with granite in all the bathroom and the gourmet kitchen, but at the same time, it is so comfortable and creates a terrific environment to relax. We spent most of our time hanging out at the house and enjoying family time. We thoroughly enjoy cooking and with the great layout of the kitchen and family room, we cooked almost every meal at the house, but did not miss any family moments. There are no words to explain how terrific the view is. Incredible is the best I can do. My interactions with the owner were also very pleasant, and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We can't wait to go back! If you are thinking about booking this house, go for it. You won't be disappointed!

My family and I have been coming to Fripp for about 10 years now and this house is by far the best. It is convenient to everything, has an amazing beach location, and is just gorgeous. It had everything we needed! Great kitchen, view, bedding, electronics, tables, you name it! Owners were great and very helpful! Our family had a ball on Thanksgiving 2010, just wish we could get it for the fourth! Thanks!
