All spaces have been redefined with a distinct mix of old and new, making the contrast between modern, minimalist interior and historic, traditional exterior a bit eclectic, as well as relaxed and comfortable. Angeles de Merida Guest House is located at the very heart of Merida's historical city centre, near parque Santiago, surrounded by convents, churches and ancient buildings of great architectural value. 5-10 minutes from the Zocolo/Main Square. Mercado, bus stations, hotel zone/conference area and 15 minutes from the airport.
At Angeles de Merida we offer the intimacy of a small guest house, without the pretentions of a large hotel. We used to call ourselves a B & B but for some reason that title seems to conjure up the image of staying with your fussy old aunt (we promise not to pinch your cheeks when you get here). We live on site so we are here to assist you whenever you need it.

reservation; the remaining balance may be paid upon check-in (Credit Card, Paypal

Who we are….two old refugees of the 60s/70s who fell into the corporate world for many years..only to finally figure out it wasn’t all worth it..so here we are….living in Mexico..running a great little guest house and meeting great people from all over the world. We are total animal lovers, have two dogs…Zelda, slightly old and crotchety terrier and Izzy..a bundle of welcoming love….In addition..there is Diego the Muy Malo Bird, and numerous chattering geckos. There are roosters that crow in the morning on the next block over and the Milk man with his cart comes by Moo-ing in the morning. We are not in a gated community but in real-life Centro. This is Mexico with all of it’s charming idiosyncrasies. If you are not a person who wants to experience the “real” Mexico, this may not be the place for you. If you are seeking the Mexico inner city experience, we offer the perfect hideaway. We attempt to make your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
