We just stayed in the penthouse for a second time. We came last summer and stayed a week. This time we stayed 6 nights. This is an absolutely wonderful place to go and spend time with family and friends. Both times we had 8 people and there was plenty of room. The view is fantastic. We love Trudy! She is always so friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep coming back!

We just got back from Gulf Shores and stayed in this Penthouse. We were one of 4 couples in this penthouse and it was wonderful! What you see on this website is what you get!! The location is great and the place was too. Go the The Hangout (especially if you have kids). Lulu's was good too. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

A wonderful experience for our family! The penthouse is exceptional. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the decor, amenities and most of all the panoramic views from the balcony. We found the location of the penthouse to be convenient to restaurants and activities. We highly recommended this property and plan to return soon.

This is an outstanding choice for a beach vacation. Our family of seven stayed there over the 4th of July weekend and the following week. There were seven of us, including two grandchildren and we had a great time. It starts with the ample parking in the lot, the availability of carts to transfer luggage and the elevators to the condo. But the best part is the condo, itself. Great layout, very family (child) friendly and safe, with a magnificent view of the water! Due to the great amenities in the condo, we cooked almost all of our meals there, and visited the beach almost every day. We will definitely go back if we want a great beach experience in Gulf Shores!

WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!

WOW. That's pretty much the summary of our stay in this beautiful Penthouse and our Gulf Shores vacation. We took the family which included my husband and myself, a teenage daughter, my parents who are in their seventies, and my brother who is in his 40's. I tell you this so you can see the diversity and that I had a few concerns about all of us being comfortable but it was a great vacation and everyone had a fabulous time. There is plenty of room for everyone to be together as well as have their own private space if they want it. The views from the balcony are awesome. The last couple of days we were there we could see pods of dolphins playing in the ocean, they actually came quite close to the shore and people stopped what they were doing and stood calmly watching them as they passed through. Beautiful. There were times when they jumping in the surf and playing, really amazing to watch. There were some jelly fish but nothing that prevented us from enjoying the warm gulf waters. It was wonderful coming back from the beach everyday to such nice accomodations. The Penthouse is nothing short of amazing and the pictures do not lie. Restaurants were close and shopping as well. The only thing I can even say as a possible negative is that I personally felt the penthouse could have been better stocked with basic supplies like paper products; napkins, toilet paper, paper plates, kleenex, etc. and bar soaps for the showers and what not. For such a luxurious place it felt like all that should have been in place, but that is not a deterrent, just know to buy it at the grocery when you go. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, pretty much right across the street. The sand did get very hot though, we were there in June, and I do recommend keeping your shoes on and not leaving them on the boardwalk when you go to find your spot in the surf. My dad actually got very bad burns on the tops of his feet from the hot hot sand. Again, just keep your shoes handy! I would recommend staying here very highly, it was well worth our drive from Indiana!

May 2011 Vacation

The cure for high blood pressure and stress is the view from this condo. Upon arrival everything about our first trip to Gulf Shores was outstanding. I have rented many times from VRBO and have used several time shares, this was by far the most elegant and relaxing accommodations ever. The view from the penthouse is truly 360 degrees and the beaches were pure white. The extra large balcony spans the ocean with a great shot of the shoreline and some of the bay to the side. The rear bedroom overlooks the bay with great views and excellent dolphin watching. We were able to utilize the balcony for relaxing, dining on the large table, and game playing. My family asked why some of our vacation photos were of the condo itself. I was truly impressed by the impeccable and professional interior decorating. This condo was something out of a magazine. The space afforded to each bedroom and bathroom made for a sane and serene vacation. Thank you to our hosts for having the kitchen stocked so well. I was able to do some baking and any meal preparation since the kitchen was better than home. Everything from linens to décor made the vacation a memorable one. Renting this on-line could not have been easier. We were so close to such great dining, historic sites, and all the beach could offer we will definitely return.

This by far was the most wonderful place I have ever stayed at. The penthouse had everything ayone cause ever ask for and more. We had my daughter's lingerie shower here and this was her batcholette weekend. We had more than enough space and all the girls with us had plenty enough space and the spacious bathroom accomadated them well. I plan on revisiting this place first chance I get. Trudy Nabors was the best person to work with in making all my arrangements and I was blessed with meeting her in person while there.

Have you ever wanted to vacation in a Penthouse to enjoy the high views of the ocean and relax in the best accommodations? If so, this is the place for you. My family and I stayed here in 2009 and 2010 and have already booked for 2011. We enjoy the large space to accommodate our in-laws and have private space for ourselves. The hardest decision we had to make was whether to eat meals at the convenient kitchen bar, the formal dining room that overlooks the ocean or outside on the balcony to feel the breeze. My husband even suggested we go on vacation 2 times in 2011 as he likes this place so much! Not going to argue with that! ;-) This is our ideal lap of luxury.

We enjoyed the penthouse very much- found everything very clean & well maintained. The pics you see are up to date-everything is exactly what pics show. Kids loved large balcony -enjoyed the view as much as the beach. The grounds were clean & well maintained. The location is the best in Gulf Shores. A Wonderful Family Vacation

Our whole family stayed here (12 people) and we still had more room than any other place we have ever stayed. It was great with each bedroom having their own bath. It was private but also the common areas were plenty spacious for all of us to play card games, etc. as a family. The views were beautiful. I can't even describe how lovely the decore was. It was like a home not a rental. LOVED IT!!! The rental contact Trudy was exceptional.

The Perfect Getaway!!!

This is an amazing place to stay. I have stayed here at the Sannibel Condos once before but in one of the smaller units and I have to honestly say that this is the best by far. There were quite a few of us that stayed and we all had room so that noone was touching elbows. I would like to thank the owner for allowing my family to stay in their well furnished and well kept penthouse and for keeping us updated with the news about the jellyfish and the oil spill. The pictures don't do this place any justice; it's one of those places you have to see for yourself to experience the real beauty of it. I will be returning to visit this penthouse and suggest that anyone who is looking for the "Perfect Getaway" you should visit here too.

The pictures cannot describe just how beautiful this place really is, it's absolutely gorgeous! Trudy went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed from directions from the airport to directions to restauraunts, bars, grocery stores, etc... We had four couples staying in the penthouse and there was plenty of room for everyone. Being that high up we were able to watch the dolphins feed and play every morning. I would definently recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama.

This is the most beautiful penthouse! Trudy is an absolute gem! She made us feel truly like family! The decor is just like a showroom-beautiful beautiful! The views from the balconies were spectacular and just a short walk to the beach! What a wonderful welcome we received the min. we opened the door an heard Kenny G. playing alone with the warmth of the house and the mood setting lighting. We thought we were in heaven when we walked into the living and kitchen area, with the christmas lighting and bottle of wine and glasses and the wonderful note from Trudy. The penthouse was so inviting and amazing with all the furnishings. After serving 30 years in the navy and having traveled all over the world this is by far the most beautiful place you could ever want to vacation in. This is our second stay in this unit. Last time was October 2009, this time Xmas to New Year's 2010. The unit has all the amenities we ever need plus a wonderful view and access to everything the coast has to offer. Even when the weather turned stormy for a couple of days we enjoyed the view of the water and waves. It is well decorated and fully furnished with everything you might need. We'll be back!!!

WOW!!! We felt like we were a part of the life styles of the rich and famous staying here. The floor plan is perfect for sharing with another couple, or just having space to exist with your family. The furnishings are exsquisite. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. We cooked breakfast, lunch, and some dinners with out needing anything other than the food. The view is great, and the beach (which is a 5 minute walk away) is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The beauty of the beach coupled with the luxury of this penthouse made our 3 night stay PERFECT. It also has us planning our next trip to Gulf Shores!!

The condo was fantastic. The pictures didn't do it justice, you have to see it to really appreciate it. I went with 3 other women and we each had our own room and bathroom. It was the best thing possible. Not having to wait in line to shower and get dressed. The condo was easy to find, the views weren't blocked by any of the other high rise condos and we had the perfect view all the time. Planning next years trip before we left.
