We are located on the sandy beach, with NO roads to cross, just a quick walk to ocean. Walk on our private sand path about 100 feet to the boardwalk (as shown in the photo to the left), another 180 feet on the boardwalk over the dunes to the ocean - a total of 280 feet. Watch breaking waves,wildlife & spectacular sunrises from the comfort of your chair in the unique, octagon-shaped, two-story, bright, and airy Great Room. Enjoy our 2 large sundecks as well as the large screened-in deck for outside dining or enjoying the ocean view and cooling breezes protected from the elements. Unwind in the Hot Tub or soak up the sun in our swimming pool all in the privacy of our fenced in pool patio complete with dining area.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Sands, Section F
We already liked Corolla and felt it was a dream come true when we found The Salty Pause, it is just like the old saying, "location, location, location" Our location is on a quite cul-de-sac, with the house right on the beach with just a short 80' private sand path to the Boardwalk and another 100' over the dunes to the ocean. As if a semi-ocean front location with no roads to cross wasn't good enough, the empty ocean front lot meant we could enjoy a fantastic unobstructed view of the dunes and ocean. Beyond the location and beauty of the exterior of the house, once we saw the interior with the open airy feel of the unique 2 story octogon-shaped Great Room with the wood ceiling, we knew this was the house for us!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We enjoy the phenomenal view of the dunes and ocean from our home, whether from the decks, screened-in outside dining room, or inside from the Great Room. We are close to everything from golf and groceries (both a half mile away), 3 different shopping centers within 2 miles provides access to a multitude of restaurants, shopping, and recreation opportunities. My favorite perk while at our home is going to the local coffee shop and Lighthouse Bagels for a wonderful breakfast followed by a morning walk on the beach with Rudy. Ahh, life is good!

We love the Outer Banks and have been coming here for years. I'm not sure who loves it more, my wife and I, or our 10 year old Lab Rudy. Rudy seems to become a puppy again in the couple of minutes it takes her to run from our home over the dunes to the ocean. Visits to our home away from home are rejuvenating for us all and I think will be for you and your family too!
