Enjoy a piece of paradise in Old Town, located in the famed Truman Annex. This is a cottage with rare privacy. A tropical park borders one side. The front porch is on Southard Street for people watching. The master bedroom is upstairs. It has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. The connection for Broadband Internet is also located there. The full bath with shower has just been beautifully remodeled. The second bedroom is downstairs and has 2 twin beds. There is a full bath with shower downstairs. All of the linens are fresh and clean for your comfort.
This cottage's living room is beautifully furnished with a flat screen TV and has a built in DVD player. The Living room/dining room opens to a large outdoor deck with beautiful tropical foliage and overlooks a tropical park. There is a permanent awning for shade and for those rare days we get rain. The kitchen is is equipped with all of the appliances and cookware that you would need. There is central A/C.
It is ideally located in the Truman Annex where President Harry Truman once worked and vacationed. There is 24 hour security. The shared pool is just steps outside the back gate, where we also have free Wi-Fi. The best beach in Key West, Ft Zachory Taylor State Park is a 10 minute leisurely stroll away. It is only 2 blocks from the famous Duval Street with all of its unique shops, tourist attractions, gourmet restaurants, local art galleries, shops and bars. Mallory Square with it's world famous sunsets is also within easy walking distance.
