Super Great Place to Stay and Fish

We stayed here for several days and had a fantastic time! Everything was perfect. The house is spotless and has absolutely everything you need. The owners are beyond great and there at a moment's call. The dock was fun to sit on and fish, drink a glass of wine in the evening and just enjoy. There is a paddle boat, jet ski - or wave runner not sure (we're a bit past that stage), boat ramp, boat lift and on and on. Deck of house is huge - great for cooking out on the gas grill provided - home is bright with large windows and sliding glass doors of the living and master bedroom - facing the lake. It is fantastic. We have stayed several place on the lake before but never gone back to any of them - we will be back here that is for sure! I caught a huge catfish from the dock - my husband caught the dock - HA! it could not be better! Loved every minute. Erin Bohner

Hi Carol and Dave, Thanks for the card. I totally forgot about my security deposit. I guess we had too good of a time! Definitely good cat fishing off the dock. And although the water was really cold, we had a great time skiing. It actually wasn't that bad because the air was warmer than the water. It work out well. Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of space, and it was very relaxing. Your place is awesome! If you guys ever decide to sell, which I hope you do not, but if you do, please let me know first :) We really enjoyed your place and will definitely book with you guys again. Please keep in touch!

Just wanted to let you know we received the security deposit check...thank you for returning it so fast! We really enjoyed our visit...the house is very nice and my husband said that the bed (master bedroom) was the "best vacation bed" we've had. Both of our 3 yr. old grandchildren caught a fish and we got gooood pictures! Thank you again.

We had a wonderful week at your beautiful lake house...perfect place to relax and enjoy our family. We had our two year old granddaughter here and she had a great time...the little shady beach was perfect for her. We had a good time in the paddle boar, catching big fish, roasting marshmallows over the campfire and swinging in the hammock!

We returned yesterday from a great trip to the lake. Could the weather have been any nicer? I don't think so. Enjoyed your place and the surroundings thoroughly. Everything was as described, and a good time was had by all. We left the place as we found it and will definitely recommend it to our friends. A return visit is something we would love to do. It was so relaxing and had all the comforts of home. Its a beautiful place-love the view-such a peaceful setting!

Hi! We had a very relaxing week. Didn't get many fish, but catch or not, fishing is always enjoyable...next time I'll bring more than my canoe. Weekend was non-stop traffic (fun to watch) and then weekdays were super quiet (our preference). Ate at the Kennon House, toured downtown Gasburg and other area tourist spots. You have a great library or reading material which we enjoyed. Wanted to bring the antique desk/bookcase in the master bedrrom back with me but knew you would miss it! Thanks so much for the use of your place...hopefully we will be there next year.

Carol, We had a great time last week. Your place was great! The pictures don't do it justice. My daughters both caught a fish off the dock within 30 seconds of having their lines in the water! That went a long way in keeping their attention on fishing. We had a great time tubing as well. It sure brought back some very special memories for me. Hope to come back again next year. Thank you for sharing your wonderful lake house...we had such a great time! We celebrated Phil's birthday with friends and had a great time waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding on the lake with the boat we rented. Our almost two year old son loved playing in the water, swinging on the hammock and feeding the fish and ducks at the marina. We hope to visit again soon!

Hi Carol - just a note to thank you for the use of your lovely home on the lake. We had a great week - The weather was rainy on the weekend, but from Monday on it was hot and sunny! We did lots of boating and riding wave runners. I even tried to water ski which I haven't done in about 8 years and in the process I tore my hamstring on my left leg, so I was laid up a bit from Tuesday on - oh to be young again!!! We are seriously thinking of renting your home again next summer. Do you have any weeks open the end of July - curious as to what your calendar looks like. Thanks again!

Our family wishes to Thank You all for allowing us to use your Lake home again this year...Jesse and his friend enjoyed the jet ski and had many hours of practice in the weeks preceding the visit, and did very well. There is a family of ducks with six fairly new ducklings that we fed on a daily basis, hope this was okay. They were adorable and have all been named. Jim thinks he would like to visit and fish possibly in October, so I will check house status in August to make arrangements. Got to go and unpack, again THANKS and have a great remaining summer.
