- The cabin is not child-proof. Also, some surrounding areas are rocky and may be unsuitable for very young children. NOTE: This cabin is "off the grid" which means a quiet generator in a storage shed 200+ feet from the cabin is the source of electricity. The generator is desigend to provide electricity for short periods (10 - 30 minutes at a time) for specific uses only such as taking a shower or replenishing the water preasure. The refrigerator runs on propane gas, as does the stove, hot water heater, and gas lights. Please do not expect the cabin to have the electric amenities of your house. If you require constant electricity then this cabin is not for you.
