Charming cabin in picture perfect setting

This is truly an amazing place. The cabin was the perfect place for us to get away and enjoy some time together as a family. The location cannot be beat. Our boys, 13 and 10, loved fishing from the pier just steps from the back door. The small lake surrounds the cabin on three sides and you could see it from almost everywhere in the cabin. We enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful view. We saw deer, including a doe and her two fawns who'd come to the pond for a drink. The outdoor spaces include a wrap-around deck and patio area with a fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a quiet, tranquil setting. The cabin is very well equipped. We had absolutely everything we needed. It was obviously well cared for and the owners Ron and Ginger were very sweet people. We spent hours sitting around the large coffee table on the comfortable furniture playing games with our kids. The music system can be played inside and outside and it was an unexpected treat. We had fun playing lots of old songs that you don't really hear anymore. We have rented several vrbo units in the past and this was definitely one of the best. We thought that the cabin looked much better in person than in the pictures. We are excited to have found such a gem and we fully expect to make trips often throughout the year. Perhaps the best thing I can say is that our 10yr old son said 'I hope one day I can bring my kids here." To us, that really showed how special this place is.

We had a wonderful time here. Spent a whole week. We were there during a "heat wave" and drought. Lake/pond was down some, but since it is natural spring fed, water was clear and perfect. Fished, caught Bass, perch and crappie. (didn't make it to the catfish pond). Had visitors from deer, cows, coyotes. (a couple of water moccosins too). Evenings were wonderful and the star gazing was "out of this world". Will definately be back

If you want to fish right off your porch, this is the place to go! We caught 40 NICE bass and crappie in two days! Really it was only in about 6 hrs. total. The pictures etc. on the web do NOT do this place justice.....It is truly breath taking and so equipped with any and everything you would need. Ron and Ginger are the perfect hosts, who ever heard of bringing you a loaf of homemade bread to go with your dinner cooked on the outside firepit. I am handicapped and had absolutely no problem with anything at the cabin and was able to haul those fish in left and right!! I can't think of another place that a person would want to go to fish, relax, get in touch with nature, enjoy elequent accomodations, and leave the world behind! Tell me a place where you can slow dance outside in the moonlight to the wonderful selecton of thousands of songs that are piped inside and OUTSIDE. (You did good Ron :) ) Thank you Ron and Ginger so very much!

We had a wonderful time fishing, swimming and just relaxing. The cabin is very comfortable and looks great. We loved sitting on the stone patio and the wrap around porch listening to the built in sound system. Very secluded place --- a great getaway! Our family had a very nice vacation. What a fantastic place! Sitting on the patio looking across the lake, smelling the fire in the pit, listening to music and drinking a brew! Nature at its best! And the cabin is so cozy and comfortable you will want to hibernate!
