Best Beach in Bocas - Rental Home - Resort Amenities
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Red Frog Beach
There is a lot to do in Bocas and a lot of undiscovered beauty. The food is inexpensive and I like the eclectic vibe of the Bocas community. The beaches on Bastimentos and Rain Forrest is some of the best in the world (in my opinion). The Developer has preserved most of the land and the National Marine Park encompasses most of the Island--so the natural beauty is all intact. If you take some time to explore Bastimentos, you will discover some amazing places that are not advertised anywhere.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It is a 3 mile boat ride to Bocas and a lot of people go back on forth on water taxis. On the front of the Island there are 5 phenomenal beaches with great surf spots. On the back of the Island the water is always calm and glassy--perfect for boating or kayaking.
It's an eco-adventurers paradise in my opinion.

Red Frog Beach is not finished being built so I was a little wary of finding things to do… I was expecting a Jurassic Park type experience. However, the Red Frog villa and property ended up being nicer and a lot more fun than I expected. Even though there is no restaurant or spa, there was so much to do and explore: incredible beaches with no one around, hikes, scuba diving, Bocas town is cool, CAVE TOUR is a must, and kayaking. We wish we would have had another day or two there. This is the type of place to go when you want to experience all the sights, sounds and sensations of tropical jungle with killer beaches. The villa was situated on the hillside and had an INCREDIBLE view! The villa itself was very impressive and decorated very nicely. There were a bunch of unfinished Villas that don’t look great and unpaved roads, but it didn’t bother us (we liked the price). We enjoyed time together as family and our two kids had a blast seeing all the animals and playing on the beaches. The staff (especially Justin and Miranda) were also very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We travel often as a family and I would recommend Red Frog to anyone wanting to go to Central America. I am not aware of too many places in Central America where you can experience beaches, jungles, exotic animals in their natural environments, and water sports while enjoying luxurious accommodations.

My husband and I just spent our one year anniversary at RFB, our "paradise island" and absolutely loved it! Not only was the area gorgeous, relaxing, tropical with its lush rainforests and magnificent beaches, but the villa we stayed at was first-class with all the luxuries, breathtaking ocean view and top-notch service from ALL the representatives of RFB and most of all Justin! Every wish of ours was anticipated and fullfilled and if we were in need of anything additional - no problem! Thank you RED FROG BEACH for an incredible experience!

Me, my wife and our 4 kids stayed there for a week; we also have 3 visitors from Panama city staying with us during the weekend. Once we got to Red Frog Beach Club we were received at the resort by Justin who helped us get settled and was also available for all our needs during the whole week. The villa was fantastic, great view, you could relax and hear the waves from the gallery, it also had everything we required (A/C in all rooms, fans, washer & dryer, dishwasher, etc,,,). Currently you do not have internet access or TV, also cell phone signal was only available for customers of Panama Cable & Wireless but we got a loaner phone from Justin Hike to the beach was around 10 minutes....beach was perfect and very private. We called Justin a couple of days during our stay and he arranged boat transportation for us to visit other beaches and get our groceries. We had a perfect time as a family and loved every minute at the resort.

I recently stayed at Red Frog Beach and could not have enjoyed myself more. I’ve been very fortunate to have traveled fairly extensively over the years and I have to place RFB at the top of the list, at least as far as unspoiled beauty is concerned. It’s truly a “slice of heaven” with lush rainforests teaming with exotic birds and monkeys, not to mention some of the nicest beaches I’ve ever set foot on. The accommodations (great value) were wonderful as well. I stayed in one of the hill-side villas with dramatic ocean views in a tropical jungle setting. The well-appointed villas were roomy and comfortable, and the staff at RFB could not have been nicer and more welcoming. It was an experience I won’t soon forget, and can not wait to visit again. If you’re looking for either a relaxing and quiet get-away or a fun-filled eco-adventure experience then I would highly recommend checking out RFB.
