Relax and enjoy your stay in this updated 700 sq ft home. Tastefully decorated in a Tuscan theme throughout, you will enjoy the old world charm combined with a modern touch. Holidays are better in your own private house with your own backyard and your own driveway. The entry room with vaulted ceiling, original wood floors and a cozy chair makes a great place to read a good book.
The kitchen, with new maple cappuccino cabinets, granite bar and round oak table is an inviting place for all to gather. The main bathroom is sparkling with all new fixtures, tile floors and a towel warmer. The bedroom has a Brazilian cherry wood floor and is home to a new pillow top mattress, flatscreen tv and a exterior door to access the backyard. This bedroom has an ensuite with a tile floor and glass shower. The living room has a day bed with a pull out mattress and frame to create 2 single beds. A flat screen tv with DVD and VHS player are also included in this room. A patio door leads out to a very private backyard with cobblestones, clay tiles and a water fountain. This outdoor paradise includes lounge chairs, retractable awning, barbeque for your convenience.
There are beach towels, mats, cooler and lawn chairs for the short walk to the lake. Wonderful restaurants, grocery stores, banks and boutique shops are all within a 5 minute walk as well.

My family stayed in this home for a week in August 2011. The location is awesome, close to beaches, grocery stores, resturants, and shops. The house is beautiful and extremely clean. The backyard is the perfect place to spend your mornings and evenings. We ate almost all our meals out there. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking. The owners were a delight to deal with. I would stay again in a heartbeat. My boys keep on asking to go back to the cool house in Kelowna. ENJOY :)

We rented this property for a week, as part of a vacation in Kelowna and to attend a friend's wedding. This house is located in a great area, with shops, restaurants, and grocery stores all located a short walk away. While there is beach access close by, it's a very small beach (ie - about 2 feet long, by 8 feet wide). We found a park about two blocks away, and while there is no sand, the park is very large with a playground (for those with kids), and there was no one there, even on the super-hot days. Picnic tables were abundant, as were benches, and trees for shade. The only downfall to this property is no washer/dryer onsite, nor is there a dishwasher. While having no dishwasher isn't a big deal, no on-site laundry would be an issue for stays longer than a week. Don was great to deal with prior to arriving on-site, and I met him and his lovely wife the night before our departure, as they were staying on the property at the end of our stay. Lovely couple. I would certainly stay here again, and I have already recommended it to friends.

This was an excellent house to stay at! It was very clean and in a great location. We stayed at this house with our 2 young kids (2 1/2 and 7mnths) and it was perfect. There are a few eating places at the end of the street which are great for grabbing a quick meal to bring back to "your home" or to sit at while you enjoy the morning paper & coffee. There is also a grocery store a block away if you would like to grab some groceries to cook a meal in the well stocked kitchen or on the Bar-B-Q! There are several parks close by and the water is a couple blocks away. This house was in a very quiet location with very little street noise and tons of sunlight comes into the front sitting area. If we ever travel to Kelowna again we would love to stay in this home... it was superb - my daughter is still asking to go back to our "Kelowna Home"!

We had such a great time and really enjoyed the privacy and motif of the backyard. We helped ourselves to some of the delicious plums fresh off the tree, and the sushi place just a block down the street was definitely a return-to kind of restaurant! Very small, but perfect for take out. The wine tour at Gray Monk was excellent, and we highly recommend that winery, as well as Arrowhead which is near it. We saw 9 deer and 3 bears while visiting them! Being only a few short blocks from a private beach oasis, we can't wait to go back during warmer weather.

This house was perfect for us! It was clean, nicely finished, and very well equiped with everything we needed. The location was perfect - close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Great enclosed, private backyard area. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. We'll be back! Thank you!

This is a great little place in a fantastic location. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. The fully loaded kitchen is great when you really don't want to go out to eat. Dealing with the property owner was simple and straight forward. The only negative thing I would say is there really is no living room so if you want to hang out and watch some tv you do it from the bedrooms, but its Kelowna who wants to be inside anyways. There are lots of great cafe's and places to right near by, close to the water and close to downtown but not too close so its not noisy. I would definately recommend this place!

My husbands words were "I could live right here!" This came while enjoying breakfast in the 'taste of Tuscany' patio/garden. We have had numerous opportunities to travel to the Kelowna area and always try to stay in this home. Some of those trips have been sports centered with our teenagers - very busy - and the location and close amenities, shops and restaurants have proven perfect! The Chinese buffet and the pizza place 1/2 block north are our favorites! Other times we have needed a getaway - away from the busy-ness of life and we absolutely enjoy 'our Kelowna house' with a beach at the end of the block. The well equiped kitchen is great for the days we have time and want to actually cook a 'real' meal. The only hesitation in writing this review for the owner is that someone else might book 'our Kelowna house' when we want it!
