Enjoy the serenity of this Cape Cod cottage at the end of a quiet, private road. Relax in our living room and large family room. Our spacious deck with a large table with an umbrella and many chairs overlooks a nature conservancy. The master bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has a single bed. There is a queen sized sofabed in the family room. A mile away are some of the best bay beaches on Cape Cod. A very short walk brings you to the quaint village of Dennis with many art galleries, antique shops, crafts stores, gift and clothing shops, the Cape Playhouse and Cinema, and the Cape Museum of Art. For young children there is a popular playground nearby, the Ice Cream Smuggler, and swimming in the warm fresh water lake of Scargo and Princess Beaches. You can walk to the wonderful Dennis Market which features excellent meats and prepared dishes for convenient takeout. You can drive to many other Cape attractions such as Heritage Plantation, Dexter Grist Mill, Nickerson State Park, the National Seashore and Provincetown. Children especially love the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and the New England Fire and History Museum.

The Unique Benefits of this House
A typical day at 19 Garden Road. We wake up and enjoy breakfast out on the deck overlooking the nature preserve, while deciding what to do for the day. If it’s a beautiful day, we head to the spectacular Dennis beaches -- only a mile away. They are great at either low tide or high tide and have gorgeous sunsets. If we are feeling a bit adventurous we may go kayaking, whale watching or out to the national seashore. On a rainy day we might visit one of the many museums, shop at the many boutiques, art galleries or antique stores. There are plenty of guide books at the house to help. Dennis is so centrally located that most destinations on the Cape are only a half hour away. At the end of the day, while sipping wine on the deck, we must decide whether to cook a simple meal, order in or wander to town to enjoy a dinner at one of our great restaurants and then stay for an outdoor concert on the green, wander around town or see a movie at the local theater. Tickets to the famous Cape Playhouse in Dennis are a special treat. Sometimes we just stay home and read in the living room, watch TV or a DVD in the family room or play some cards. However you spend your days and evenings, a vacation at 19 Garden Road will relax, rejuvenate and restore you.
