Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Hi My name is Susan Parker. I have lived here in White County all of my life and I feel very blessed to be able to live, work and raise my daughter in these beautiful North Georgia Mountains. I own a few cabins myself and I manage this cabin for my parents. This cabin is nestled into the woods on our family land and it is really a wonderful get-away destination. We know that with the economy in disarray, people can't afford to pay big prices to go on vacation so we truly are trying to offer this cabin at a very affordable price so that, for some of you, it will make your vacation both affordable and incredible. We hope you have a wonderful get-away to these beautiful mountains!

The cabin was wonderful, very well laid out and exactly as it looked in the pictures. The only trouble I had was first, with the lock code - they gave me the wrong one and I couldn't get in on arrival - but a nice lady (I believe the owner's daughter) saw us, stopped and let us in, and with the hot tub - it was apparently programmed for 105 degrees and that was a bit too warm. Took a little getting used to! I would've liked to be able to turn it down a bit. Otherwise, it was a great place, in a central location to all of the places we wanted to go and it had more supplies and amenities than I expected! The books and pamphlets there were helpful in letting us know what things there were to do in the area as well. We enjoyed it so much we may be back this summer, fall and maybe even the winter, if not in this cabin then probably another Cozy Moose cabin. Thanks for such a terrific getaway!!

The one and only complaint I can give this cabin is that we couldn't stay longer. The location was wonderful, just far enough from the city for the mountain privacy that we sought. We loved the fire pit and outside ambiance. It was the perfect getaway that we needed and we had absolutely everything we needed at the cabin, including a book of sample day trips and local attractions. We are already planning a return trip and will definately stay at Forrest Farm Cabin.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
