From the wood-burning fireplace in the living room to the deck overlooking the city and the bay, this is the perfect apartment to enjoy everything San Francisco has to offer.

Newly remodeled, the apartment is pristine, with everything freshly painted. The kitchen is fully equipped, with new stainless-steel appliances. The bathroom is floor to ceiling French limestone. The bedroom with luxurious queen-sized bed looks out over Buena Vista park. The living room is spacious, with a real fireplace and new comfy sofa that can double as a queen-sized bed for your guests. You'll have every convenience -- flat-screen TV, DVD player, WiFi, washer and dryer. The whole place has a welcoming, open, bright feel.

And what a location! The apartment is four blocks from the heart of the Castro, so convenient to everything (including a Muni station), yet set back from the hubbub for the perfect urban retreat. Supermarket, organic grocery, wine stores, shops, cafes and nightlife are steps away. There's a public tennis court two blocks from the apartment, and a beautiful open space, Kite Hill, a block and a half away, where you can sit on a park bench and gaze at the city below. A few minutes' walk through the Castro and you're at the urban oasis Dolores Park, filled with locals sunbathing, strolling, and walking their dogs; a few more blocks and you're in the Mission, headquarters for San Francisco's new art and music scene, with some of the best restaurants in the city. Public transportation is easy, with the Castro Muni station five minutes away. Please note: there is a three-night minimum stay.

  • We had a fantastic week in this apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was indeed a great place to come home to after sightseeing. Close to everything in the Castro and only a Muni ride from the Bay and the city. The views are exceptional and the apartment has been beautifully renovated and has everything you will need. Do yourself a favour and stay here - you wont be sorry. And yes the wine shop on the corner nearby was great too!

  • Staying in this apartment was just as comfortable as being at home. The views are great and it was really nice to have parking, computer access and laundry facilities available. We will definitely recommend this place to friends visiting San Francisco.

  • I loved staying here! And would definitely do it again. Every room is bright and airy. The views from the dining room and the deck go all the way out to the bay. I loved coming back here after a day of sightseeing and relaxing in the living room with a fire going. The neighborhood was also perfect for me - quiet, yet close to Castro St. and Muni. (Really like the wine store around the corner on Castro, too. Good wine at good prices.) What a great place to stay. Felt like home, if my home only had a redone bathroom!
