There's a public tennis court two blocks from the apartment, and a beautiful open space, Kite Hill, a block and a half away, where you can sit on a park bench and gaze at the city below. A few minutes' walk through the Castro and you're at the urban oasis Dolores Park, filled with locals sunbathing, strolling, and walking their dogs; a few more blocks and you're in the Mission, headquarters for San Francisco's new art and music scene, with some of the best restaurants in the city. Public transportation is easy, with the Castro Muni station five minutes away. Please note: there is a three-night minimum stay.
