The owner made a big effort to make us feel at home. The house is beautiful and very conviniently quipped. The back yard is great, having the pool, barbecue, table, washer and dryer. We loved it. The matress wasn't very comfortable. The heated water in the pool wasn't warm all the time. Sometimes cold. We spoke to the owner about it and he came as soon as he could and took care of it.

My family and I stayed here during my wedding! The house was neat and clean, as in the description. My husband picked me up from here and took a ton of pix in the backyard! It has a beautiful garden! Toa is very courteous, answered all questions. The only annoying thing is the location, located right behind a Costco, so you hear trucks in the morning.

Our time spent at this house was perfect. The place was as described and viewed on this site. Toa, the property manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful. He went above and beyond. If heading back to the LA area again, I'll be sure to see if this house is available!

This was a great family home for the size. We paid extra to heat the pool but it was very dirty with peeling paint and the sides of the pool were deteriorating so we did not feel it was a good value. The pool fence was literally backed up to a Costco, convenient for shopping, horrible for noisey beeping forklifts very early each morning. The Costco building boxes in the house and blocks the afternoon (3pm) and evening sun. It was a decent functional home but "luxury" is not the appropriate term for an older home with obviously do it yourself remodeling. We were very disappointed.

Toa's beautiful home is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, and was an ideal size for our large group. Toa met us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful in showing us the house and providing us with options for local restaurants and shops, as well as places to see in LA. The house was clean and matched exactly the description and photos we had seen online. It was a shame we visited during winter - the outside pool area was lovely, and we would certainly have spent more time in and around the water had the weather been warmer! We still enjoyed a few afternoons playing ping pong table outside, which Toa had set up before our arrival. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to prepare meals when desired. As stated, the location is ideal for visiting Disneyland and other theme parks nearby. While is a substantially longer commute to other popular L.A. destinations like Venice/Santa Monica Beach and Hollywood (around 70 minutes to each in our case), this is the case from just about anywhere in the huge city of L.A! We really enjoyed our time at Toa's home and would certainly recommend it to others. Thanks again Toa!

Toa, Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your great home. The home was super clean and had everything we needed and more. 8 of us stayed in the house and had more than enough space, we didn't even use the pull out beds in the living room or the twin mattress under the bed. The pool was great, it was nice and warm. The distance to disneyland is truly 8 minutes. We saved a ton of money by shopping at the Food For Less on Euclid st and everything else was convieniently close. Thanks again, we'll be calling you next time we go to Disneyland. Lihla

We rented from 12th December - January 2nd 2010/11. Super locationin, peaceful surroundings, everything was as advertised.Well maintained property with excellent High speed wi-fi so you can organise your days out on the webb prior to leaving for the day and check local weather's.The heated pool was like a hot-tub (not in size but temp) a must if you book in the winter months, even though the weather was cold the children could still make good use of the heated pool. The landlord was always at hand if you needed anything, even a roasting tin for the xmas turkey as we did.He was also very helpful with hints and tips on what where and when to do stuff, he truely was a diamond of a host. Would I go to this property again ?????? YES YES YES

We spent two weeks in August 2010 and we had a really great time! The house's location provided us with peace & fun we needed for vacation. We could easliy access all the places we wanted to visit like Disneyland, beautiful beaches (Laguna, Huntington, Sunset), Hollywood, LA, San Diego etc. Living in the house was really comfy. Togetger with our two daughters we enjoyed swimmig in the pool, playing table-tennis or watching hummingbirds. Toa, the owner, was very helpful and caring - when the dishwasher broke down he immediately replaced it with the new one. Wonderful place, I do recommend.

I just wanted to start off by saying that Toa is a very easy-going/easy person to work with. He met with us when we arrived and walked us through the house and his expectations. He explained that he wouldn't be here for the weekend and that he would drop the security check off on saturday despite the fact we were staying until sunday. One of my friends accidentally broke one of his glass shelves. I was planning to leave the security check in the house such that he could replace whatever he needed. However, Toa made sure everyone was ok and just told us not to worry about it. In addition, we lost one of his keys and still he said not to worry about. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Disneyland and had a lot of good memories. I can personally vouch for Toa's character and it also helped that his place was conveniently located. As for the amenities, I thought for the 10 of us, it was plenty big. We brought an air mattress, but comfortably fit 8. Thank you again Toa!

We really had a great time at this house. It was completely remodeled house and everything was perfect. The best part is it's very close to Disneyland, Anaheim. Kitchen was very well equipped. I would recommend this to anyone and also I would definitely prefer to stay in this house during my next visit.

My family of 7 has spent 6 days staying in this house during our recent year-end vacation to California. The house is modernly, beautifully furnished and most importantly it is clean and comfortable. My family found comfort and joy staying in the house and had a great time playing table tennis in the backyard. The beds in 2 of the rooms (except the one in Master Room) maybe too high for Asian folks (in this case for my parents) and the inflatable bed lost all the air by the end of 6 days. Nevertheless, the quality of our stay was not much diminished. Overall, it was a good experience for the family and our first time staying in a true American home. The owner, Toa, has been very attentive to our needs and he came by in the evening when we had internet connection problem.

We visited california in november and decided to try a vacation rental instead of the overpriced hotels, and me and my family cant tell you how happy we were to stay at Toa's beautiful home. Everything was perfect, and the price was very nice too. The house was very well located and extremely comfortable for me and my family, also we were provided with everything we needed from cooking stuff to towels and bedding. It's nice to meet fine people like Toa and his aunt, and we will definetly be staying here again on our next trip. Much Mahalo and Malama Pono to you and your family Toa, A HUI HOU. Fa Fea Tai. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Visiting from Norway we stayed in this wonderful house for 1 week visiting all the great attractions in southern California - great location in a quiet area. Only a 10 min drive away it was easy to make the most of our days in Disneyland, taking a break in the middle of the day to cool off in the house swimming pool. The house was fully refurbished, had plenty of room and was fully equipped to meet the needs of a family of 7 ageing from 5 to 70. The owner was easily available, very helpful and responded quickly and positively to any questions or requests we had.

This was a very nice home to stay in. As there were only 2 of us, there was more than enough space. The garden was nice and big, with a nice pool. Lovely humming birds in the garden. Plenty of things to do in the house if you want some down time. Lots of games and dvds, and play ping pong in the garden too! I would definately stay here again.

We stayed here for 7 nights in August. This is a very nice house which is well equipped. There were seven of us and there was lots of room for us all. The garden is lovely. My kids loved the pool and playing table tennis. It is in a nice quiet neighbourhood and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The house is only about a 10 minute drive to Disneyland which was great and meant we could go to Disney in the morning, leave when it got too hot or busy and then head back later in the evening. It is well positioned with regards to access to the freeway. The owner Toa was very friendly and helpful and had lots of information about the area. We would definitely recommend this house. My entire family of seven stayed at this house for a whole week. We enjoyed all aspects of the house including the pool and the layout. It is perfect for a family with children(or not). It is a very warm place with all needed amenities. The decor is modern with a very classic appeal. It is within five minutes to Disneyland and is close to all sorts of shopping and dining. I would suggest this to any family or group of individuals in need of a centrally located dwelling close to all the aspects that southern California has to offer!!! A plus note is the owner, Toa who was always there to help with any suggestions for fun or if anything was needed. Thanks again Toa!!! John R.
