The River Cabin is a quiet marsh side retreat on St. Helena’s Island off Eddings Point Road, exactly half way between the charming historic town of Beaufort, SC and the pristine beaches of Hunting Island (each 10 minutes away).
It is a cozy cottage with an awesome 12’ x 20’ screened porch overlooking the tidal marshes and Dataw Island. It is located in a fishing community on Jenkins Creek that provides a long dock, swimming pool, tidal boat ramp and beautiful sunset views. This cabin is ideal for a couples’ getaway, family vacation or artist’s haven.
The River Cabin is available for a week, weekend or month. It has modern facilities, great karma and easy lifestyle.
Bring your boat and explore the local tidal waters, or take off for the Atlantic Ocean via the Intercoastal Waterway at the top of Jenkins Creek. The area is friendly and picturesque and St. Helena’s Island is brimming with local art, restaurants and new shops.
Historic Penn Center is less than a mile away, and the best fried shrimp on the island is just down the road at the Shrimp Shack.
